This is my best friend and my body guard JT. My dog for 1.5 yrs that is also his age. I am his only owner and that is good because we have a bond that will last until either of us die. Protection is what he gives me also his friendship.

I believe that all pitbulls and other breed related to pitbulls family.. should banned to own one.

I agree with you. I keep seeing on news about pitbulls maul kids and even older people to death. Today in Texas a 76 year old woman was mauled to death by 6 mixed pitbull and rotweilder dogs. Geez!

I don't see much negative feedback so far! Glad to see that way! I love my Staffordshire Terrier (Pitbull family). No, Pitbull is NOT banned. Some states require you to have full liablity insurance when having this kind of pet. Tell you this, most people get wrong idea about these cute dogs! It all depends on how the owner/master train the dog. In fact even real innocent looking dog that is known to be very friendly can be a killer! It is all based on how the owner treated the dog, PERIOD. Anyway, I have had Staffordshire Terrier for 16 years, she was so damn friendly with ANY human! (Very unfriendly with other animals). She passed away with severe leukimia. Right now, I have Jack Russell Terrier. What a crazy puppy!

I think we all heard this a million of times, so I'm sure we all know that, there's no reason to keep repeating it, there are some people out there who do not like pitbulls, but there are some do, that's fine....

The bottom line is, there are going to be people out there who are scared of some pets out there for whatever reason, there nothing I mean nothing that can change a person's fear over a pet.....

My Pitbull

Yes, that comment is true they can be very dangerous that is what enviroment they are brought up in. My dog is very nice but it is territorial. If you come near my house at night after a certain time he will be angered in a rage and may attack if felt threaten if you are unknown intruder. I have another dog which is a BOXER a very big dog which is same personality. These dogs can be all dangerous due to training. My dogs are registered they are able to join police department if wanted them to. They are highly trained unlike nasty fight dogs that people think are dangerous my dogs can rip apart. But they are not for that they are for protection from intruders. An they are family also they are best thing a man can have as a friend besides a girl friend, they give and support different needs.

that right. i dont believe that pit bull should be banned in certain cities. Sure they are bred to be fighting dogs but that does not mean all pitbull will be mean. The owner trains them to be mean which is why they attack. Not only that, owners who don't take care of them well. Another thing is that people who go on the property of pitbull had accepted the risk of trepassing, same idea as my dog, german shepard, she is protect the family and property.

I understand that pitbull are bred in history for fighting dog but not mean have to train them like fighting dogs. In my city all owners who have pitbull or dogs in the family of pitbull must have sign on their window for other people to see. I agree with that because not all people are comfortable with that dog or big dogs. But I disagree with banning those dogs.

Thanks.. and it's good reason to post.. and it's true..

What's more.. I recall that I posted month ago.. that Pitbull attacked our defenseless puppy.. (He was tied tree/post in backyard).. didnt do anything and My youngest 3 kids were there playing with our puppy.. pitbull got loose and wandered and aim'ed at our puppy.. I have been thanking Lord that it didnt aim to one of our kids. If it happens, I might not be here. It will be hard to recover and overcome the grief and trauma..

Our kids changed since it indicent... they didnt go outside play only if we play front or with other kids. Our puppy recovered nicely but more defend to the kids and me. His barks are out of control not same as before,...

So whoever or talk about pitbulls, I dont give a flying shyt about pitbulls or related to family period.... Because I have seen in newspaper and tv and saw few dogs fought... now got our puppy.. I am sick of it... Only main important that our kids are safety and other people/children too ...

Sorry people , if you own one.. I cant judge but dont want talk about it. Consider for your safety. it can kill you even you are the master...

Good luck to pitbulls/related family owners..

erm... not always train them to become mean and act like that.. Nope..
Alot owners just own them as pet. somehow they turned out an aggressative .. that pitbull who attacked our puppy, the owner said that pitbulls and other 2 pitbulls.. did;nt train for dog fightings or breed.. just own them as pet.. somehow they become aggresative and bit other people or animals.. just like other attacks which are pets, not trained for dog fighting..
but train dog fighting pitbulls can kill instantly...

Unforunately Minnesota Law is working on the Vicious & Bite Law and Banning Pitbulls/breed related to it... but right now, there is no law that owner pays our vet bills unless you want go court and sue. therefore only less 200 dollars bill for our puppy... and I wanted to sue and make owner learn lesson.. After talk to Police department and justice.. they said that its going to be long battle... because our puppy isnt vaccianted and license.. Ugh.. but Police and justice are watching that owner of pitbulls already tagged and mircochipped as dangerous dog.. if they caught that dog again. its up to them to make decisions to put sleep.. I am hoping that the new law pass before 2006.

some ppl like pet pitbull .. for me I refused get one pet pitbull cause if the dog attacked the kids or adult then sue me. I dont want to get sued by someone... one of guy in my home area that I always noticed it almost like everyday that the guy 20 to 30 yrs old that he put proteced (spelling) around his pitbull's mouth that cant bit or attack the kids or adult. his dog look very good and quiet to staring at us. I like that cover their mouth that cant bite

That is not true, Pitbulls were unleash and went on someone else property and attack them. It had happen too often. I don't trust pitbulls, rottwelers, dobermans or boxers. If I see one of those type of dogs I stay the hell away, and if they came on my property hurt my children I swear I'll beat the hell out of them with my baseball bat. I am not going to stood there trying to get that dog off of my kids, Those dogs are more stronger than I am, and I'm not going to watch my kids die just because a violence dog went on my property and attack my kids for no reason. Doesn't work for me. I hope those owners are aware what risks that could happen and put dogs on leash period. Keep them on their yard and everything will be fine. ;)

I pulled up a few photos of Pillbulls bites....Photos of injuries caused by dog bites, Beware some photos might be senstive to those who cannot handle. :thumb:

I am not trying to scare people away but this is what happens when dogs gone bad, Pitbulls and Rottwelers have higher cases of attacks than most other dogs. That's why I think it's important to keep all dogs on leash and on their own property for the safely of everyone. ;)

I understand and I have nothing against ya for owning a pitbull either, I'm sorry for going a bit off your topic here, I know you were only here to show your dog's picture...Thanks for showing us a picture of your pet, I know you love your dog which is great ;)

i have a boxer and shes the sweetest girl in world. she always loves to cuddle or lean on someone. She more of the type who wants to be protected then the protector. i believe its all about the dogs personality that makes it mean. ALL DOGS CAN BE MEAN DON'T MATTER WHAT BREED IT IS.

I would never own a Pitbull or Rottweiller. It scares the hell outta me when I see one. But ALL dogs have a beauty in them as an individual. MikeB, that's a really go pix of your pitbull.

Cheri.. ugh!! Did you really have to show that?? :Ohno: My daughter was attacked by a dalmation when she was 5.. the dalmation bit her knee and have to have stitches, just 3 stitches but could have been worse.. She was also bit by a little mutt because she pulled the dog's hair and he snapped and left a cut on her lip (no stitches but glued together)
