Such a positive thread, thank you all.
I have a moderate to profound hearing loss and live in Toronto and employer's always freak out or sort of get paranoid when I mention the hearing loss because with 5 million people working in this city it's very very competitive, and I have seriously been through some horrid work experiences and not getting jobs and the family always blames me and I can't go to the courts and the family resents me and if you go to see counsellers they just label you for sitting in their office.
But I really apreciate reading this thread......I'am 38 and never knew other HOH people growing up and was kept away from that because I had to be normal.!
