After roaming the streets my kitty came home. Those long trips are not allowed .
 
A "Tom Cat", I presume?....Is there a "Cat's Meow" Pub near you?....He (?) might be on the prowl....maybe one of the "ladies (kitties) of the night" gave him a "Meow"!..(cat call).....
 
I had a cat and he would come home smelling like smoke! I found out a neighbor would invite my cat in her house and let it sit in front of the fire place and feed him!

I let him go now that I know he knows his way. I just keep an extra lookout. I live on a dead end street so Im not as concerned because the house he frequents is three houses down.

How old is he?

You best look at getting surgery done asap (I know it's costly, especially if it's abdo) just cos it's a genetic issue and the undecended one can turn cancerous
