I HAD HEARING just like christopher reeve at one time he could walk. Things happen.

see ravensteve?? that is an example that you should go buy one. no need for talking on phone to get 911. Using TDD will make your life more easier.

I don't think we can call 911 directly using the TDD.
Why not invent a 911 button, and install it next to the phone?
And then when something happen, deaf person can press
that 911 button, and the police station will know
that the person is deaf and will send the police to your house.

Ain't that a good idea?

Now you see why that he refuse to accept his deafness, thats why he own like this instead of TTY to hoping to have his hearing back soon.
