How many members here likes going to museums and galleries? What type of museums or galleries do you like to attend and what interesting you the most about that museum or galleries?

With me I like to go to Canton football hall of fame because my son loves football but his favorite team is Cleveland Browns. ;)

And I also like to go to Rock and Roll hall of fame and Museum which it is downtown of Cleveland its only rock and roll. It's very interesting museum I'll tell you that.

i like going to the M.O.S.H museum. Museum Of Science and History. they have a lot of cool stuff there. a lot of interactive stuff.

I do like going to museums once in a while..I went to the one called Museum of industry and history near University district in Northeast Seattle area. There were lot of interesting stuff related to industry's history. :D

I also went to Underground Tour in Pioneer square (old downtown) of Seattle which shows the leftovers from the 1890 fire that destroyed most of the downtown and filled over to 2nd floor most of that area, wow, remains before 1890! It's like going from 2005 to 1890 all of a sudden! :D

I like going to the art/history museums...I like learning and seeing about different things that people used to have a long long time ago....and love looking at art too....

There must be more, but I can't really remember them all. I like visiting all kinds of museums and learning some new things everyday. I need to start going to the ones here in my own city!

I've been to my fair share of museums.... the last one I went to was Hiroshima Peace Park Museum, in Hiroshima Japan. Its very depressing seeing the aftermath of the atomic bombs, and its also rather graphic.

Oh I forgot to mention Oklahoma City National Memorial museum I saw the outdoor symbolic memorial, memorial museum, Organization and partnerships. If anyone remembers the Alfred Murrah Federal Building which located in Oklahoma City killing of 168 people. It was one sad museum I ever went to. :(

I've been to the Memorial Art Gallery here in Rochester, New York a few times. It's a nice place. It usually depends on what they have and my mood.

I went to Airplanes (old fashioned) exhibitation museum in south Seattle few times. I also went to Underground Pioneer in Seattle once. It was very interesting sighting. I even can see the old alley and small box of glass on above where people walk on the sidewalk. I went to Science center at Seattle center. One of my favorite thing to go there includes IMAX.

I went to Art museum (and part of Gallery, too) in San Diego near Balboa park. I went to Aeouspace museum in San Diego. That was awesome! There is also science center at Balboa park in San Diego, too.

A few of waterfront museums display of the city.

My favorite place is go to a factory and like to watch the factory assembly foods or things.

San Diego got several museums condensing in one famous park-- Balboa Park. They got several art musuems, history musuem, aerospace, automobiles, etc... all in a walking distance. Of course there are more musuems in San Diego that is not just within the walking distance from Balboa Park. ;)
If you are in SAn Diego and want to have a first taste of musuems-- go to Balboa Park. I think they got like 20 museums there. They all are not like New York City's MET so don't set your hopes too high!

I often go to art museums (not only for my own entertainment but for my classes' papers!)... The museum of science is fun because there are modules that you can play with to get results! They have SAME modules since I was a kid. Such fond memories every time I go there! Same thing for my husband... :)

I have been to MET in New York City yet I never have been to the Getty in Los Angeles. :-O

[EDITED:
Safari has beat me about Balboa Park. :)

The last time I went to a museum was last weekend for my class to the San Diego Museum of Art to see the exhibits: "Farsites" and "Only Skin Deep"... Just a FYI-- every Tuesday at Balboa Park there are some museums that will let youin for free. Every tuesday of the month has different museums where you can get in for free. If you cannot make it on a Tuesday, you can buy a passport for 60bucks (80 to 90$ value) which gives you an admission for all museums in Balboa Park that are valid for seven days...! A wonderful package if you plan to visit all of them while staying in San Diego! Sorry to sound like somebody trying to sell... :-X ]

Oh I forgot to add that I have been to museum of flight in south seattle, few art museums in california, museum of wildlife in utah, and few more others also
