I just rented a movie tonight " Munich " and I watched the introduction by the filmaker Steven Spielberg with subtitles. I am watching that now and I will let you know what I think after seeing this movie, okay?

It is about the aftermath of the 1972 Olympic operation in Munich, Germany. The Israelis had to respond to the events and that is how it got out of control in Europe from their home base of Israel. I am not done watching the movie yet. I am about half way through the movie where the Israelis tried to do a walk-up hit on Salameh.

Oh that's cool. Let us know about that ;)

It is about when 11 Israeli athletes were taken hostages and then killed by Palestine terrorists during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany and then afterwards Israel hired some agents to hunt down some terrorists who masterminded the massacre in Munich.

I bought the DVD last week and it was quite a good movie to watch.

After seeing this movie, I would have to say some of it was good and some of it was very inappropriate but it really did show the jewish mindset as is evidenced through out the movie. I was appalled at the lack of the professionalism exhibited by the Mossad agents who became " unknown spooks " which means that their government denied and has no knowledge of these Israeli Mossad agents. Nobody in their right mind puts explosives in somebody's telephone in their own house where their family lives which really shows again the jewish mindset. It has been proved time and time again that Israelis will threaten a family even their own, an Israeli family. Keep in mind some of the events are true and where they could not fill out the spaces then it was left up to the film maker Steven Spielberg to imagine what events took place and some of the scences in the movie were disturbing. This is not a 100 % true movie. There is 50 % truth and the rest is made up from imagination as the film maker Steven Spielberg had talked about at the introduction before the movie started to play. I would have to say this is an okay movie and they had hyped up the movie to be really good but in my opinion it was okay. Not that great of a movie but excellent in that it shows really what and how the jewish mindset operates. I also do not approve of how the Palestinians do things like blowing themselves up like the shahids and things like that either but I also can understand why the Palestinians turned out like this because of the treatment the Israelis were giving towards the Palestinians even before WW 2 began. The jews were peresecuting Germans , Russians , The jews were running extortion for money and things like that which led the world to hate the jews even more by the jewish's own doings and not us. The Israelis are gonna do themselves in and God will allow it to happen for a good reason to teach the jews a lesson until they repent and acknowledge God's Son The Lord Jesus Christ and Israel has a long way to understand Romans 10:1 and thn look at Romans 10:9-13 then finally look at Romans 10:21 the same goes for the Palestinians to understand what Jesus Christ is really all about too in Romans 10:9 then Romans 10:12-13 in the KJV Holy Bible.

When I first saw the trailers for Munich, I was very interested in seeing the movie. I remember the real life events as they happened (I was 21 years old then). But as I read reviews of the movie, I lost interest. The movie was not as accurate as I had hoped, and it was described as sympathetic in its portrayal of the Palestinian terrorists.

Heath, you should read Gideon's Spies, The Secret History of the Mossad, by Gordon Thomas (Thomas Dunne Books, St. Martin's Press, New York, 1999). It is non-fiction.

Yes I can remember what happened in Munich and also saw on the movie years ago.

Very sad.

Hi Reba,

I will have to read that book. I think they might have that book at the local library as they keep new releases then put them on the regular shelves. I don't think the movie was more in sympathy with the Palestinians or the Israelis. I would have to say the film maker Steven Spielberg which by the way is ironically enough a jew himself showed the movie in a netural but a very shocking light, although not on par with " Schindler's List " but still shocking neverthless and I wanted to see one of the movies called " Syrania " also one more movie I can't remember the name of the movie which is a film about the journey a Palestinian takes towards being a shahid and shows the what and why he did it. I am very interested in Middle East history and the events surrounding Biblical Prophecy as well as the human events behind the forces driving modern day Middle East as well as Acient Middle East and what Israel was before in Biblical times and today's modern Israel. Today Germany is becoming very powerful in the European Union which is a good thing because I am happy as a German-American to see Germany is becoming stronger today in the midst of the Anti-German sentiment the world is obessed about and they have forgotten that Germany had the Berlin Wall fall, many positive changes going on inside Germany and I keep up with news in Germany and am happy to see Germany is doing very well and becoming stronger.

Hi Liebling,

Yes it was not a very good thing for the Palestinians to do but you have to remember they had to grab the world's attention to what was really going on in Palestine and how Israel was really treating Palestinians very wrong. I realize the Palestinians handled the situation wrong as they still do today. I think they need a different stragetry and there are some Palestinian organizations working to change this to a more positive approach but the Israelis as usual refuse to have peace. You also need to remember there were no suicide bombers before these events took place and shaped modern day Palestine-Israeli conflict. It was not always like this.

I was not born when these events happened but what I do remember is every year on CBS and ABC news they would hold an annual event talking about Black September but every years the newsreel would say something alittle different year by year which obivously was the hand of the Jewish controlled media press reports as they obessed about the events year after year about Black September. I got very suspicious because the news keep changing their story alittle by alittle over the years which was a real eye opener.

No, there was absolutely, positively, no excuse for what the Palestinian terrorists did.

The Palestinian terrorists are the ones who don't want peace. They continue to attack Israel. Israel gives up land, disbands settlements, makes concessions but the Palestinians keep attacking.

Baloney.

Like you said, you weren't even born then. I was an adult at that time, and I remember what happened. I saw the live news reports. There wasn't a "Jewish controlled media press reports" that "keep changing their story".

Hi Reba, I never said I approved of what the Palestinians are doing. I said that there were no suicide bomber until after that happened and yes there were tit for tat killings going on since the 1940's. You also have to realize the Israelis were wrong too. Recently I heard that the Israeli Army shot a 10 year old Palestinian kid who was doing nothing then the Israeli soldier's high ranking commander told him to kill the 3 years old Palestinian kid too as well and the Arabs got very angry. In another incidient at night time in a Palestinian village. The Israelis came shooting everybody in their houses while they were sleeping and nobody was shooting back because that was a very quiet village and there were a few lone guards posted. I know that the tanks always send rounds downrange and exploded houses on impact. The Arabic wife and the kids of the Palestinians had nothing to do with terrorist activity. It only makes the whole neighborhood more angry. I don't approve of what the Palestinians are doing neither do I approve of what the Israelis are doing either. They should not cross into each other's neighborhoods and only have guards posted with backup as necessary. The Israelis are provoking things much more worse but so are the Palestinians. The Wall does help some but it hurts both the Israeli and the Palestinian encomocy. Both neighborhoods need peace.

I saw this movie in the theatre with rwc and thought Spielberg sure has an ax to grind. I was quite turned off by the movie and hope Spielberg comes to know Christ as his Savior.
