after reading a thread from someone fustrated with her Firefox like sometimes we did/do. I realized I need to recommend you all readers to try it! Can't miss or overlook this one, guys.

Mozilla Suite

Why?

Firefox may be a simple and smart browser but it has some problems downloading at some sites while working fine with others. While IE has its advantages and disadvantages, it rather has too many security holes and more. It runs very well, however, but it puts you more vurnable online. Long story.

I used IE very long time since the Netscape bust till a year ago or so. I switched to Firefox and liked it good but not as great. Till a comp expert, a friend of mine recommended me to try Mozilla Suite's browser.

Then over a year I use Mozilla Suite browser all the times without a minor problem! Too incredible and rather so overlooked by many! It blew me away unlike others I have experienced with. It's more smoothier and much smarter and safer browser overall. Try it and you won't be sorry! Seriously, it's my strong testominal for you guys.

I only use IE rarely where the sites requires it so. Fine as long I'm forced to use it rarely okay. But man, Mozilla Suite Rules, fyi! Hands down!!!

Okay, I'll look into it...

I'm firefox user!
btw, to see anything goods features and good information..

Probably I might chance and try it.

Espically problem is plugin for video always kept say.. "Install manual" and recieved so many different kind video related flash/media player and much more but I have those software on my puter but seems not received adapt w/my firefox ?

I had to patience jump to IE browsing to view the movie clip... when done.. *close it right away* reason never likes IE for my reasons.

Isn't this old? Plus, I thought Firefox was based on the Mozilla engine.

I'm not sure how long the Mozilla Suite has been avialable. I only knew that Firefox was quite new.

I haven't heard of MS till my friend told me last year. It's why I said that it's overlooked by many out there. MS is much better browser than Firefox. Now I knew that Firefox is over-rated.

Firefox 1.0 version or older have problem wiht some site so. Firefox 1.5 version or newer it work everything great.

Now, I am using the Firefox's 1.5.

I pressed my mouse's wheel by my mistake so I moved my mouse down without using the scroll bar. It scroll down the window very smooth - no jaggy lines. That is something new to me. I don't know what else is new for this browser.

It's nothing new to me.. I used it all the time for I.E... I just tried it with Microsoft Word. Same thing. Guess it is not only for broswers.

I've already tried Firefox and many other browsers. They give me problems while IE doesn't.

It's a matter of knowing how to browse the web. For a person who goes EVERYWHERE without being careful, then Firefox is probably a good idea. It's like baby-proofing a house. Babies go everywhere without being careful, so we have to put locks and covers on everything. Adults are careful and know get in stuff carefully. That's the same with IE and other browsers. ;)

Did you ever try Mozilla Suite's Navigator Browser?

HINT: Some of you guys think or assume that Mozilla Suite is same as FireFox .. No!

It's even much better than FireFox, too! Mozilla has 2 browser types that I know of.

Yes, True it may be good idea for newbies or anyone who knows little or go everywhere online, it would be safer and easier for them using FF.

But for immediate or experts, use Mozilla Suite (Navigator browser) and avoid the risks of IE's swiss cheese holes and more.

Experts and the smarter browsers use Mozilla Suite's Navigator because we all know what IE's invurnablities are. I used IE for almost 10 years just right after Navigator era. Use IE as little as possible, believe me especially the experts. Ask yourself why the Windows family has been frequently patched with the security updates. IE is the big part of it, too cuz of its damn swiss cheese holes lol.

Reasons why you all ought to try Mozilla Suite are:

Less trouble, more security, faster boot, tabbed browsing, and smoother. It includes cookie manager, pop blocker, and such features. Heck with the ActiveX that IE often ask you to install whenever the site asks you to .. that Mozilla never asks you to.

At least try it for once and see it yourself. If you don't like it then unistall it and go back to your favorite browser, simple. Believe me, you will like Mozilla Suite's Navigator much better overall.

I've been using both for several years. They are based on the same code. Firefox is the dumbed-down, or simplified version. I recently stopped using the suite though, and use Opera or Firefox instead.

More accurately, Firefox was aimed at being the perfect web browser, whereas Mozilla was aimed at developing Gecko. Mozilla Foundation/Mozilla Corporation are no longer at all interested in furthering Mozilla Classic, as Firefox has matured quite nicely. There are not going to be any new versions of the older browser, only of Firefox.

I don't know where Teresh got the information that Mozilla stop upgrading Mozilla Suite. I actually got it updated several months ago, however. If you, Teresh know of a link straight to the source supporting your statement, please link us ok, tks.

Yes, FF has matured bit better and do hope they continues. If so, it should be the best browser in the near future. It's "almost there".

The real problem lays with IE because so many, many online businesses and servers uses IE format building their sites. I do mine, too. So it takes a while longer for the Mozilla browsers to perfectize.

Now I'm using FF to retest with at least 10 sites just recently. It seems improved bit, but there is still few sites not downloading at its full. Mozilla Suite at its full download so far. Moz Suite at 1.7 version while FF at its 1.5 v .. so that should show it's still is quite better browser disregarding how your opinions say.

However, FF is really good especially for the immediate surfers. Cool browser. I especially like the icons in the bookmarks easier to identify and click faster. It has tabbed browsing, too.
