There are a lot of sequels coming out for 2008!


Indiana Jones 4

Batman 2 (the new version, not the Michael Keaton version)

The Mummy 3 (The Scorpion King was a spinoff, not a sequel)

Saw 5

James Bond 22

Harry Potter 6

Star Trek 11

Harold & Kumar 2

Hellboy 2

Punisher 2

Madagascar 2


I can't wait to see these!

James Bond 22? I thought from bond 21 was the final one, and no more? I guess, that bond 21 was shit, IMO.
 
For your information, Star Trek is now opening in May 2009, not December 2008. They made the announcement of the delay today. The reason is that May would give the movie more potential to generate a higher revenue.

How disappointing. :-/
 
Thats very disappointing. They show a teaser earlier this year for a movie that was supposed to be released in December... Now they delay it another five months...
 
Yes about delay dates for many reason like no budget to continue or death of key workers (actor, actress, producer, etc,) or storyline changed.

I would bet on Batman 2 will be delay due death of Health Ledger.

I can't be dissppointed cuz there got more good movies coming up.:)

They are not delaying the new Batman movie. They are in post-production right now. Star Trek was delayed so that they would have a better chance of making more money. May is often a very good month to release movies.

Yep. The same goes for Star Trek. The original series was made by one guy. As more people got involved, more things were added... new technology... new history... new alien races... etc.

There's also Star Wars. The 4th movie was originally the 1st movie until the 2nd movie came out. They then decided to start labeling them with new names such as "Episode IV", etc. They even have more books based on Star Wars.

You are right about post-production of Batman 2 (mark on June 22)
