What do you think of this?

Motorola unveils 'Q' cellphone

More info/specs on Motorola Q Phone.

What I like about The Q is that it doesn't have antenna rods which can get in the way at times. I am not sure if I want go back with VerizonWireless though.

Ah, that looks nice. I still rather stick with my Sidekick II. :)

Too ugly Q

EV-DO access for fast downloads of data, e-mail and large attachments.

But plans is expensive.

Customers can choose from three calling plans that include voice calling and unlimited data access with Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess service:

- $79.99 monthly access - includes 450 anytime minutes with unlimited data usage?, unlimited IN calling and unlimited nights and weekends ($0.45 per minute after allowance).
- $109.99 monthly access - includes 1,350 anytime minutes with unlimited data usage?, unlimited IN calling and unlimited nights and weekends ($0.35 per minute after allowance).
- $169.99 monthly access - includes 4,000 anytime minutes with unlimited data usage?, unlimited IN calling and unlimited nights and weekends ($0.25 per minute after allowance).

?Unlimited data usage for Internet browsing, e-mail and intranet access within the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area

I dont know how much cost for data only??? :dunno:

it's very thin than blackberry and it got great picture resolution.

And yes... expensive package plan. :/

who needs EXPENSIVE ???

Prefer reasonable price.. I'm using blackberry.. and Like it!

I LOVE QWERTY keyboard

Looks Good but I am NOT sure
about Verizon wireless yet BUT
I recalled that Verizon wireless
were still STRONG and working well
during these hurricanes in Florida area
almost ALL of these cellphones do NOT work
except Verizon.... Is this True ?

I wonder about Verizon wireless vs others ???

I'd like to have Motorola Q, but I wish the data plan (without the voice) would cost $30... But if I get Motorola Q, I may not be able to use My IP Relay terminal, which are only available for Sidekick II and Blackberry depending on the provider they are using.

But what I like about Motorola Q is it's got Windows Mobile 5.0! I'd like to have Windows Mobile because I use Office applications, browse with Pocket IE, etc. and I really love the look of Windows Mobile. If I can do TTY-to-Voice calling with My IP Relay and receive calls from anyone who know my personal phone number in Motorola Q, it'd be great for me to have Motorola Q, but as long as I don't need a voice plan and as long as the cost of the data plan goes down to $30--the same price for the Sidekick II Data Plan every month.

Windows Mobile 5 devices are awesome. I can't wait to get one, whether it's a Q or a PPC-6700 or other, even though I'm happy with my Blackberry right now.
