Well, I as parent don´t control my child´s boyfriend or girlfriend´s parents because it´s my child´s choice whom he wants to marry, not me.

FYI: Palin is not responsible for her daughter´s boyfriends mother´s drama.

uuuuhhh.. that's not what byrdie is asking. byrdie's asking a hypothetical question if you'd let your kid marry one whose parent is a fuck up... like a drug addict.

I would rather not but if my kid is over 18, then there is nothing I can do and just hope that my kid's significant other isnt a fuck up either.

Yes I know what Byrdie´s question is about because it affects me and my past. I have no problem to answer his hypothetical question explain that I as parent do not control my child´s girlfriend/boyfriend´s parents which mean is I am not interesting to know about my child´s girlfriend/boyfriend´s family background because we don´t marry my child´s girlfriend/boyfriend´s family but my child´s choice if he want to marry a person, he want to spend rest of his life with, then respect my child´s choice because he is the one who spend rest of his life with a person, not me and a person´s parents.

Thank God, that my hubby´s parents accept me when they know before that my mother is an aloholic. My hubby don´t care about my family but me.. .It proves itself that it´s me he really love and want to spend rest of his life, not my family.

As teenagers during college time, my best friend´s parents forbidden her to befriend with me after learn negative over my family background because they fear that I made bad influence on her... My best friend ignored her parents and continue her friendship with me... It proves itself that she is a true friend. Many years later they realized that I am not what they thought.

It doesn´t mean that I am a bad person because my mother is an alocholic...

Well being the Governor of Alaska--she has a lot of people at her disposal. She could at least have an individual keep tabs on Levi's mother.
