That's funny, Oregon is expensive than Washington for house prices? I noticed Washington is cheaper but more expensive at the max, but that's not accurate information, where did u get that stats? I thought it's cheaper in Oregon.

Not anymore :(

such suprise that California isn't 2nd most expensive state after Hawaii, :P
I wonder where Miss P got those stats.

We live in South Carolina, and we pay almost $1,200 per year for our house insurance. I'm surprised that we are not on the "Top 10" list for insurance.

I knew it!!! Californians put Mississippi up there on purpose
to make me and Raven look bad...

hmph!!! That is so tacky!!!! :werd:

Thank you Reba.

See Its Cheap to buy a home in texas! And Texas has no income or property taxes. So Californians can really sell their home and buy a 3 acre land in texas.

See My patents are so stupid for moving to florida where insurance is expensive all around, Even car insurance is bad in florida because of the pinhead old bats driving too slow here. And pinhead old bats are the ones causing the accidents. Up in maryland its cheaper to live and i agree with baltimore county piggyback tax. It charges extra taxes on homeowners and make homeowners pay for schools and other crap. In dingbat florida they raise the damn local sales tax to make you pay for schools and other crap. Im maryland cops are more nicer to you than biggoted corrupted cops of the south.

That was my feeling, too. It looked awfully outdated to me.
Last year New York City nudged Tokyo, Japan aside as being the most expensive place to live in the world.
I cannot seem to find a VERY updated list, though.
Anyone?

hooray my home state is cheapest of all LOL :-P :giggle: but wisc is not my current home state :-P (at least not anymore)

I think Virginia is most expensive and fast growing area where I live.

I bought townhouse for 115,000 in 1998 and sold in 2002 for 240,000 bucks (5 yrs)...

I just bought a house for 365,000 (only built in 1995) and now it is valued at 435,000 (we only live in this house for 6 months) We were told the value increases 70,000 a yr...

Yikes that is even worse bec we gotta pay property taxes, car taxes, fed, and state taxes.. that is damn a lot!! That is one reason why I wanna move back to Texas to save money...

We spent 10,000 just for only 6 months in daycare....figure that out....

GUYS...do not even think about living in NOrthern Virginia...they will bleed you. :pissed:
