Why did I not surprise? :roll: There will be more job cuts in future (LOT more. I predict approx 3.3 million jobs will be cut within 2 - 4 years), take that to the bank if you want to.
More than 100,000 jobs were cut in October

Employers' job-cut announcements totaled more than 100,000 for a second month in October, suggesting companies may trim work forces, a survey found Tuesday.
The 101,840 job cuts measured by Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., an outplacement firm based in Chicago, represents a decline of 40.7 percent from the 171,874 reported in October 2003 and a decline of 5.6 percent from the 107,863 reported in September.
The survey hasn't recorded consecutive months of job losses exceeding 100,000 since January-February of 2003, Challenger said.
If employers such as Office Depot Inc. and Convergys Corp. follow through with plans to cut jobs, consumer confidence may weaken and spending slow at a time when the economy is already facing lower-than-expected job creation and wage increases.
