No snow here

I was born and raised here in San Antonio, TX. Twenty years ago, we had 18" of snow. That was the most EVER. Only 1-2" snow few times since. Two days ago, it was 77 degrees here.

Who wants my big snow shovel? I haven't used it much since leaving Colorado. You folks suffer in the winter and I suffer in the summer with weeks of 100+ weather. Awful heat or deep snow, prefer which??
 
Friday morning is frigid air. At 6 a.m., the temperature stood at minus 10 degrees. :eek:

I heard, there is more snow on Wednesday night until Thursday. :(

In resp to ITPJohn's Q; I keep trying to tell folks down here that my blood will never be thin enough to be happy being broasted on 100+ deg, 85%+ humidity. In terms of preference, I frame my response the following way; You can always bundle up more to manage the cold. You can only take off so many clothes. Besides I'm a misplaced knitter with a ton of wool on hand that is pretty much useless down here. BTW, per the climate and local population, this ain't South Texas, it's northern Mexico. :thumbd:

We are expecting about 10 to 12 inches of snow today, starting at 10 am...ughhh. I have to drive 1 hr commute out to the mountains from the city... glad I got my hubby's 4 x 4 SUV in case I get STUCK!!!!!! ARGHH ARGHH..... :jaw:
 
haha. my stepmom's littel red acura is not too happy. nor am i. this is the 5th day straight (including a weekend) we have had no school. i am bored out of my mind! i dont think i have ever wanted school more in my life! lol. i live in Spotsy VA. i shall snag a pic or two with our new Sony Cyber Shot in a while. we only have like an inch. and school has been closed 3 DAYS!! :squint:
 
Yeah, I am over in Fauquier County, not too far from your Spotsy,,,,, ughh....
