did you realize as you compare yesterday and today...

Yesterday - Parents have lot of kids.

Today - Kids have lot of parents.

I have two parents.

The original parents, I do not know them when I was baby.

The current parents know as my guardian, took care of me. Grow and act like real family.

Will I ever see my real parents? I doubt that. :dunno:

What is your point, Illustrator? Are you trying to say that back then a lot of parents had a lot of babies, baby-boomers and all that and now today we, ideally, are now taking care of these parents?

What are you trying to do?

I don't agree with you. There are large popultion of mid-age adults since the famous era called baby booming.

I absolutely agree with this quote:

"Today - Kids have lot of parents."

I know so many friends of mine who are divorced and their parents remarried, etc... like 4 "parents" instead of 2, and 8 "grandparents" instead of 4.

Amen to that quote... My parents are divorced. My mother isn't planning to make a move on men unless she find the right one, still not yet for 4 year lately. Right after my parents' divorcement, my father went down to Florida and found his old high school girlfriend and decide to marry her within a week he met her, then 6 month later, they had an annualment (I'm not sure if this is a right word or not,) or another word he divorce her. Now I heard a rumor that he's gonna marry other woman... I suspect he's gonna divorce her after next 6 month he marry her. :ugh:

I don't mean to joke at this quote but in some way it's good you got 8 grandparents who's gonna give you a nice gifts, whose know one of the gift could be a automobile...

:laugh2: That is really true. One of my ex-bfs came from a divorced family, and it was really weird seeing what he got as pressies for Xmas and bday, etc... Felt he was a bit tad too spoiled... Nothing wrong with that though, but I hate the idea of spoiling kids like that.

That's an interesting way of putting it! I would also have to agree too. Sometimes, I'll be talking to one gal and she'll be telling me her plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas. "I'm driving home for Thanksgiving and flying home for Christmas." "Why drive when you can fly both?" "Oh, I'm driving to Pennsylvania to see my dad and flying to Kansas to see my mom."
