Any of you like to play Monopoly?

I used to play it a lot when I was at RIT. My friends and I played it so much that we decided to change things to make it more interesting from time to time.

I've got 6 different editions...

- Monopoly: Star Wars Trilogy Edition
- Monopoly: Star Wars Episode I Edition
- Monopoly: Millennium Edition (2000 Edition)
- Monopoly: Lord of the Rings Trilogy Edition
- Monopoly: 70th Anniversary Edition
- Monopoly: Library Edition

Yes, I've played them all. :)

I'm waiting to get "Monopoly: Mega Edition" when it goes on sale in the near future.

A few days ago, my sister's boyfriend got the original edition for his birthday... but it came with a new dice. (This dice originated in "Monopoly: Mega Edition" and was added to the original edition by popular demand.)

I played that game for over 5 hours with my dad and I being the last 2 against each other for over 2 hours before we finally agreed to end the game and determine the winner by whoever has the most money. That was me. :)

I love playing Monopoly games. Used to have the "Monopoly: Original" game. But I have played "Monopoly: New Zealand Edition" in the past with another friend. :)

New Zealand Edition? Was it an official Monopoly board?

I've seen a bunch of those Monopoly clones that aren't official Monopoly boards like Aggie-opoly or A&M-opoly. I prefer official Monopoly boards. :)

I love Monopoly, haven't played that in a long long time. I know there is a lot of editions out there for Monopoly. One day I can collect a few that I like and play it when I have time :)

My neighbor threw out the brand new (with wrapped) Rochester Monopoly! FAR OUT! I haven't open and play with it yet. I guess they threw it out cuz they sold the house and moved.

I love Monopoly! I used to play for hours...miss those time! :) I'll talk to my hubby about play that again....hee!

I am thinking to get Monopoly Jr for my son for Christmas...he'll have fun with that...since he love to talk about money. Jeez!

I like playing Monopoly,my problem is finding someone who will sit long enough to play.

Me! Me! Me!

Oh, wait... I live too far away. If I'm ever there in town or you're ever here in town, perhaps... we'll play a game or two. :thumb:

There are game stores that sell many different editions. Also, try Wal-Mart... Target... Toys-R-Us... etc. They will have several editions. Wal-Mart has the Indiana Jones Edition and the box is a crate. Target has the Library Edition and Target Edition. Those are pretty cool. One store that has rare editions are Go! Games (Go! Toys & Games). They have baseball, basketball, and football teams. They have Coca-Cola, Mustang (car), Corvette, Lil Pet Shop, etc.

My family and I always play that, it was our family favorite board game! :)

Yes, there is a lot of different kind of editions to choose from and I can check it out when I can :)

Ooh... so, it is an official Monopoly edition. That's good.

The reason why I prefer official Monopoly editions is because the rules will always be the same. The only thing different is the theme, which adds more fun to the game. :)

Yes, that's correct it is an official Monopoly edition.

Those other Monopoly editions:

- Monopoly: Star Wars Trilogy Edition
- Monopoly: Star Wars Episode I Edition
- Monopoly: Millennium Edition (2000 Edition)
- Monopoly: Lord of the Rings Trilogy Edition
- Monopoly: 70th Anniversary Edition
- Monopoly: Library Edition

I haven't seen those ones at the stores in New Zealand. I'll check it out in Australia stores if they do have any different kinds of official Monopoly edition.

I do miss playing official Monopoly game.

If we all have a AllDeaf Meet up, we all could have a game of Monopoly; perhaps a "Monopoly: AllDeaf Edition". ;)

That'd be nice to have a special AD Edition :)

ME TOO! ME TOO! My friends rather go shopping. Ew.

My fiance has to "be in the mood" to play. Grr. I want to play and I want to play NOW! :)

I have Boonton Monopoly. Which is basically Monopoly with stuff from my hometown, Boonton NJ. So it's kind of interesting to see that.

The only game that I have that's ORIGINAL is the Mad game..I loved playing that game....would always play by myself. It's a weird game where you have to have NO money to win. Opposite of Monopoly. :)

A lot of these editions are for limited release.

- Monopoly: Star Wars Trilogy Edition
This came out after they released the trilogy as special edition.

- Monopoly: Star Wars Episode I Edition
This came out when the movie came out.

- Monopoly: Millennium Edition (2000 Edition)
This came out to celebrate the upcoming year 2000.

- Monopoly: Lord of the Rings Trilogy Edition
This came out after all 3 movies came out.

- Monopoly: 70th Anniversary Edition
This came out to celebrate their 70th anniversary.

- Monopoly: Library Edition
This has been around for several years. You could probably find this one at your local Target or another store (if they still have it).

The new one that's at Wal-Mart (Indiana Jones Edition) is at Wal-Mart only and was released to celebrate the recent release of the movie. If you want that, better get it now or never. :)
