I have a friend who is in the pain.. this person had a little bump behind of the neck and under jaw.. this person keep getting pain by ear, teeth.. is that sign of mono or widom?

I guess it is obvious that I am not a doctor. :D

I suggest the friend get real medical advice from a real doctor and not from us (unless there is a doctor in the house).

I'm not sure, it could be anything really, I suggest you to tell your friend to make an appointment to see a dentist and go from there....:dunno:

The description rings a lot like the mumps, but it's quite rare these days. Though people still can get it.

Too many variables.

Is there fever?

Is there inflamation (redness or swelling) inside the mouth?

White spots inside the mouth?

Other symptoms?

How long since this pain started? Is it constant? Is it sharp or dull?

Any swelling on the other side?

Any neck stiffness?

Has your friend had mumps or the mumps shot before?

Does your friend still have all wisdom teeth? Any previous wisdom teeth problems on the other side of the mouth?

See? Too many questions. Really requires a doctor.

Yeah I agree with Reba here, none of us are doctors, and we don't want to give you the wrong information what it may be, only a doctor can tell you what is really wrong with your friend...

I dunno, I'm not familiar with those conditions, so I think your friend needs to contract her doctor and dentist. :thumb:

Does it hurt when ur friend try to eat??

I would recommend your friend to see a primary doctor. If it is major part of the jaw, then go to a dentist. If it was the same dentist that got him/her hurt, then go and see a different better dentist. I am not sure about the back of the neck - maybe see a chiropractor.

Just checking in to see how your friend is doing, has your friend seen a doctor yet?....
