Yesterday I bought a Fiskars paper punch of a handprint. I realized that I can cut off the middle two fingers and I get a ILY print. Or I can cut off the last three fingers and I would have a handshape of "gun" or a pointing finger.
Thought you gals would like to know.

And... if I cut off the index finger, the ring finger, the pinky... then you know what I get. ;)

When I was a resident advisor in the dorms for a couple years, the office (that I worked at) had a bunch of those press-cutters. They're little square pieces of wood with metals designed for cutting out shapes. One of them was a hand. A couple friends started joking around saying, "OMG! I cut off its fingers!" and showed us the middle finger. ;)

neato! i didnt think of that. Thanks for sharing that with us.. :D

Here's another idea. You could make many different colors of handshape and make it the 'wave' around a photo in the scrapbook - you know instead of clapping hands. Perfect for someone who finished high school or getting the college degree.
