Investigators are questioning a man in connection with the disappearance of a girl who has been missing since Christmas Eve.

Christina Tedder, 12, was last seen at a Shell gas station at 10th Street and Shadeland Avenue between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, officials said.

A man who was also seen in the area around the same time is being questioned by authorities, RTV6 reported.

The man was taken into custody on a probation violation.

Investigators hope they're on the right track, but say the case is still far from being solved.

"As we always do, we investigate every missing child as a person who's missing. Could be runaway, could be possibly abducted. We investigate them all the same until we come to some type of conclusion," Marion County Sheriff's Department Deputy Chief Herman Humbles said.

Christina has long brown hair and brown eyes. She's 5 feet 1 inch tall and 100 pounds and was wearing a pink, hooded coat, blue jeans and black tennis shoes when she was last seen, officials said.

Very troubling and hopefully she will turn up somewhere unharmed.

One thing I find troubling is I saw an interview with family members on Fox News, and every one of them talked of her in a past tense.
Not a good sign.....many of you may know what I'm getting at.
 
Is that in georgia? It could be another lame judge who refused to put this guy behind bars like the judge in tampa florida who was lazy for putting this sex offender away.Later on he abducted ,raped and killed a 14 year old girl and governor jeb bush forced the judge into retirement because he was too damn lazy to file paperwork to put this sex preditor behind bars.Maybe that judge in maron county should be forced to resign too.
 
It was in Indiananpolis. While I can't speak for specific judges, you are right. They need to be put away for a long time. Killing of a child should be life without parole. I'm also not a believer that sex offenders can be rehabilitated. Perhaps some can, but it seems there are an awful lot of repeat offenders out there.

Agreed. Except, I am for the death penalty in cases like this. If it's proven that a pervert snatched a child to rape and kill them , then they should get the ultimate penalty.

I honestly don't know if this is a deterent or not, but once a person lands on death row, chances are good that THEY won't do the same thing again.

Hmm... if a judge allowed a person to sue you for a million dollars just because he tripped on your door step, would you call him lame?
 
my belief is "Golden rule" so therefore who purposely kill another person should be executed...
 
and execute them the EXACT same way they killed their victims is the way to go -- if the offenders had tortured their victims first prior to killing them then THEY themselves should be tortured first! i do not agree with a "humane method of execution" thats too easy with lethal injection -- i believe they should die horriably the same way as they did to their victims
 
But you know judges aint gonna do that? Because of the liberal democratic party .Watch what the california supreme court will do on scott peterson verdict. Theyre gonna overturn the verdict ande give him a normal 40 year sentence which includes parole. Because the california supreme court is mostly apointed by democrats.

I so totally agree, FF ..but these people who are assigned to kill these offenders have moral consicence of their own so I doubt that anyone would want to have that kind of job.

I can only imagine that giving lethal injection or other "humane method of executions" would not be so hard on a human's conscience.

But I may be wrong ..there may be some just totally unfeeling people out there who would not mind doing that kind of job and walk away without feeling a twinge of guilt.

yea Meg u do have a point but damn :pissed: i dont think they should have the luxury of an EASY death -- remmy McVeigh at his death qq he was SMIRKING with no guilt of his killing the 180 victims (if i have the right nbr of victims he killed) and many of them were CHILDREN!!!
