Marines in Afghanistan banned from passing gas, Military Times blog reports

AFGHANISTAN - Passing gas isn’t always the most pleasant experience, but it’s most certainly natural, which is why a new military ban on it is causing a bit of a stink.
A Military Times blog reports that this new don’t pass the gas law applies to marines in Afghanistan, because passing gas is highly culturally offensive.
This rule goes along with a list of other things marines mustn’t do as they work to win the trust of Afghans, including discussing politics and girls.
