Migraine..

Okay. What about the QXCI

There seem to be none in BC where I am from.
But I think what possibly can QXCI offer that all alternative medicines put together doesn't?
To my uderstanding it's a mix of meditation and other therapies.
Mind- body connection.

I believe in mind body but only to a degree.

For example I've tried biofeedback and meditations they were relaxing but did nothing for my migraine.

Massages work for me, and watching what I eat (no cheeses, chocolate, alcohol..)

I believe it would works wonders for someone with lesser headaches, but my migraines are really severe..

Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestions :)

My friend knows a QXCI practicer. She took the training in BC last fall. Please pm me a name of your town or post it here. I am sure that she has a list of practicers in BC. I strongly believe that it will work for you this time.

Reba! I am sooooo glad you don't have any more migraine headaches!!!!! And thank you for sharing!

I already spent once small fortune on accupunture with no benefits..

I suffer from bad migraines to the point where sometimes it makes me very nauseated. I recently visited a close friend of mine and he made a very interesting observation. He noticed I tend to slouch when I sat down and he sent me a migraine link which advised against slouching because slouching does cause migraines. Poor bone structure in your back causes migraines, I've learned to sit up properly and sit on harder chairs and not slouch on softer couches. My migraines really reduced in intensity over time, just a suggestion. :)

Oh yeah, poor posture yes may trigger these probably because there is a pressure on sensitive nerves and muscles.

Glad that improving your posture helped some.

Wishing all painless days and nights..

Geez, Reba.....You are very lucky not to have those dreaded migraines anymore!! How in the world did you get rid of them for good? what is your secret? I still have them occassionally..they are not as bad they used to be thanks to these migraine preventives that im currently taking..Inderal and Topamax..I still take Imitrex when i get migraine attacks. I just wish i dont get them anymore PERIOD! ha....oh well, maybe its my make up that im destined to have them, like some people are destined to get diabetes or whatever...heh.

Here are a couple of people who work with the QXCI machine that are
in the Vancouver area:

"Leslie Fischer" <calm_zone@hotmail.com>

Alyce Harms would know of someone who is closest
to your area - alyce@thequantumcenter.com

Another person lives in Victoria, BC.

Christina Van Aert: *cvaneart@shaw.ca

This is weird; I must be losing my mind. I thought for sure I already replied to your post a couple days ago; I remember the words that I typed, but I don't see my post here!

Anyway, here is my reply again. :)

Sorry, I don't know the secret. If I did know, I would shout it out to everyone! I don't want anyone to suffer with those awful headaches.

I know it's REAL terrible!

I was suffered Migraine attack when I was a little girl. Magraine is gone after I got my first period when I was 11 years old.

It goes back to me again after move to live in Germany in 1985. I took migraine pills to prevent it. I took it right way when I had the feeling the migraine comes. Everyone told me that migraine will be gone when I have a child but it's still the same.

I can't talk to anyone when I got migraine attack. I do is stay in the dark room. I got vomited sometimes... Terrible one... It's main worst than "headache".

Migraine is gone after birth to 2nd son in 1996. OMG! I haven't got it for 9 years now.. ***knock on the wall***

Yes this is terrible. So painful, and all.

Migraines sometimes just go away, for no apparent reason.
They differ in instensity, frequency, duration and in almost every other aspect.

Some people have one or two migraine attacks a year some one or two or more a week. Some have them every day, for years..
Some got them as children and never again had them after puberty, some got them late in life..
some will take an aspirin and their migraine will be gone some may take strong narcotics and still be in pain..

this is really very individual.

That they'll go away during pregnancy is common misconception.
Some women are lucku in this way but most are not.
A little bit more women experience improvement after the first trimester of pregnancy, but still a lot suffer immensely during entire time.

wishing you painfree days..

I get migraines every once in a while.. and when I have one, I turn off my hearing aid, take some Excedrine Migraine, and go where it's completely dark.. in most cases I'll get in my bed and cover myself with my covers so it's completely dark and quiet.

course, I don't always do this when I have a migraine. I get them at work sometimes.

I used to have HORRIBLE mirgaines 5-10 times every month :rl:

I found out it was the saccrine in my toothpaste, the chemicals under my kitchen sink, the chemicals i used to clean with, etc so I found an all natural alternative to wal-mart products.

Now that I got all the toxic stuff OUT of my house, I havent had a mirgaine in 2 months YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! :applause: :applause: :applause:

If you want to know more, email me heather_shali@hotmail.com as I dont check posts often and I hate missing questions etc

I had HORRIBLE mirgaines last Saturday morning. I worked from Friday morning 6am until Saturday 9am. I was so sick to my stomach when I had a
really bad headache. I slept alot on Saturday morning to get better engery when I ate something.

I can't imagine what other ppl had a bad mirgaines like twice a month or week.

i get really bad miragines as well, and frequent headaches.. When i have miragines i stay in bed all the time i cant stand lights and stuff. i hate it.

I cant remember who told me but someone was joking, the reason i have mirgaines is cuz my brain is too smart for my brain hehe. so i am going to say that to everybody else who have mirgaines. You are too smart for your brain. ;-)
