Merry Christmas Everyone!

Now you did it.
Kids want pics of "devil eggs."
 
Well, I got a beautiful locket necklace, a couple of turtleneck shirts, 3 polo shirts with Hawaiian like prints on them, a booklight so I can read my books at night, perfume, and another type of clothing. I also got a cute pillow that has "Spoiled Dog Lives Here" with Pepper's picture on it....Mom got this a couple of months before my 13 year old Boston Terrier, Pepper passed away (she died last Monday :(). Mom told me earlier before Christmas that she got me this pillow...I told her it's ok, and I will put it on my bed as a keepsake to remember Pepper by. :) It's on my bed right now.
My aunt and uncle gave me a really nice date/time/address book...complete with a calculator, maps, notes, references, etc. smile.gif It also has several places to put my pictures, D/L, plastic cards (like library card, pass for Cypress Gardens, etc.), and a place to put my money in. They must have spent a lot on Christmas this year! :) I went down to their house to eat lunch with them and their family, which means my cousin and her family, and other people we all knew. smile.gif I had a very nice time. :)
My other aunt and uncle gave me a nice keychain with a "Noah in the Ark" image (made with pewter). :) I really like it. :)

Then we’ll come home and start cooking dinner. It’s just going to be me, Mayflower, and my mother this year—everybody else lives out of state. I’m making a standing rib roast with scalloped potatoes and green beans, and Mrs. Chimp is making her world famous cheesecake. Then we will all open presents and get seriously buzzed on the eggnog. Sounds cute to play Santa for a couple of kids.. heh! I am looking forward seeing what you brought Mrs. Chimp. might be a nice lovely neckless huh? ;)
 
Hee hee—that’s what she thinks too. She was fishing around, trying to figure out what I got her. She asked me if it was something she could wear every day. I said yes. She asked me if it was very small. I said yes—it’s so small it could fit inside an empty cigarette pack. So she thinks it’s a piece of jewelry. What I really got her was a $200 gift card from PetSmart. It’s very small, and if she wanted to, she could use it to buy nylon collars that she could wear every day. :giggle:

Mayflower has always wanted to set up a saltwater aquarium, so I gave her an 80 gallon tank with an oak stand and canopy for her wedding present. But we spent so much on the wedding that we were too broke to get a filter, heater, and gravel for the tank. So now she can get her tank set up. She’s gonna be stoked, and I can’t wait either. :)

LOL! That is a great gift. ;) I used to have an aquarium with a lot of goldfish and until I brought one fish that was aggressive and it ate all the goldfish that were in the tank and boy My son Markus was pretty beat up about that. I did not know that fish would eat all the goldfish until I asked the PetSmart about it .. Opps! :whistle:
 
Since Christmas is over now, but its never too late to say " Merry Christmas "
