As I am getting older , I noticed that I seem to be forgetting things more. I used to be able to have an excellent memory and remember the tiniest details but now I am just so forgetable. Some poeple say it is because I have more responsibilities hence having more on my mind. Someone told me that I am unconsicously shirking my responsibilities and using memory laspses as an excuse. Maybe it is that!

Any of u feel the same as u get older? Just wondering.

I have a great memory and remember things like lists of my childrens first grade classmates that I read a couple of times year ago. And things I read I can often recall pretty much verbatim.

But then with the short term memory, like "what did I come to the store to buy?" that is where I notice memory is not like it used to be! :P

Oh, yes! Writing things down helps me a lot, such as appts., etc.

A lot of my childhood is missing due to head trauma and my sisters always are filling me in on things we did when we were kids, etc.

I dunno if it's actually (the reason) getting older...might be our brains are so full! My boys are my "memory keeper" now...as I ask them to please "remind" me a lot!

I forget things all the time, i just dont have a good memory whatsoever.
