McDonald’s Happy Meal resists decomposition for six months

Wirelessly posted

Why are you comparing minerals to organic?

Since it's not organic, it must be dangerous to eat. :)

My point is that you cannot just take it at face value. Think critically and be informed.

Makes me think of this one:

"Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death."

People got terrified and signed a petition. Little did they realize it's just another word for .. *drum roll*... water!

That gave me a bit of a chuckle; but, you make another point, we have so many chemical compounds in our food that many people would be led to believe that Dihydrogen Monoxide is another chemical in their food that has proven deadly. Now we know why we still trail behind Europe and Asia in the Math and Sciences!

However, deafskeptic is right, we shouldn't use people's lack of knowledge against them and induce them into a mass hysteria. Only bad things can come from that.

Until then.....

OMG Dihydrogen Monoxide kills!

Hehehe this you gotta read:

"The internet was totally grossed out recently by images that showed a McDonald's hamburger sitting out in the open for six months without decomposing or rotting. But one blogger dug a bit deeper, and it turns out no hamburgers [including homemade burgers] rot."

The Truth Behind the Everlasting Happy Meal: Burgers That Size Don't Rot

Yep, even your OWN homemade burger the size of McDonalds won't rot. :)

Hmmm, maybe I need to set up a controlled experiment deep into the labs of ATU to see if this is fact or fiction.
