But the question was in reference to 911, which was by large the largest attack that can be directly linked to Al Q with no doubt. Of course, they hate the U.S. as a whole, but I still maintain that their hatred toward GWB intensified the hatred they already had not just for the U.S., but for any Westernized nation.

it is America and American Ideals they hate...

they started planning it before he was even running for office. GWB just happened to be in office when the long planned attacks were carried out.

NP. I wish I can get a better in-depth history of my family line but my entire dad's side is gone (except 2 sisters). Wish I knew more about my grandpa and his role in government but my dad had no clue. He died when my dad was very young. Funny thing is... my facial structure does not look like my parents. It's closely resembled after my grandpa so maybe that explains my affinity for politic??? None of my family members nor my relative families have interest in politic at all. Whenever I talk politic at dinner table, they just :roll: . Anyway - the point remains... my dad's side is gone in North Korea and my mom's side is still alive in SK. I think that's a pretty apparent result of what would happen if U.S. did not intervene.

Most of those attacks especially the 1993 WTC attack, the attack of USS Cole, and the bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa are directly linked to Al Qaeda.

Agreed, it is American and American ideals, or more specifically, Westernized ideals that they hate. I don't think it was a "just happened" coincidence. I think it was planned timing.
