Lol, I have bitotorrent, but suprnova is no longer offering torrents. I don't know why. :\

Ah no. I am a Lightwave/3D max user but one of my good friend who is taking the advanced courses in Maya (it is third year now). It is way too expensive for my taste...

His latest work:

They dropped suprnova out of picture because of two reasons: Hollywood announced that they will use the lawsuit against any torrent sites that host the movies. Other reason: Too much hassle for them to keep the server going.. too many downtimes and donation issues.

I bought it legally from NewTek (creator of Lightwave). One year ago, they sold Lightwave with special price: $699, I grabbed the opportunity and bought it off. I want to be a 3D modeler/animator and I rather to buy it legally so I can advertise my works at few communities without having to answer the questions about pirated and whatsnot.

I wish I know where for you to download but I am bit uneasy about downloading these warez or pirated softwares so I don't know much about these... sorry but if I find a site or somewhere for you to download, I will let you know about it.

Where one drops, another one opens (usually overseas). I am looking for classes that teaches how to use Lightwave and Maya.

Agreed about 'one drops, another one open'. One suprnova-like site just did when suprnova dropped out of picture.

Or are you looking for regular colleges/universities that offers the courses in Lightwave and 3D max?
