I knew this Marvel and DC have been at war for many to prove who best comic industry empire in international....even Marvel and DC did team up on several occasion for storyline..for example Spider Man and Batman vs Joker and Carnage drew by Mark Bagley (my fave storyline) anyway...which you think is best Marvel or DC and who is your favorite character logo this inspired you? I wud say mine is of course: Marvel!!!! Look my listing

1) Spiderman
2) Fanastic Four & Dr. Doom
3) Wolverine

What about you?

I was never big on those types of comics. I prefer the lines of Archie, Mickey Mouse, etc. Well, not surprising because I'm a girl! :D

I also never really understood nor liked the dark themes of the comics you mentioned...except for Superman -- that was OK. I prefer the movies. ;)

Since you mention the Archie comics. I have some news to share with you. Miramax and Archie Comics are going to co-produce a live-action movie based on the comics.

It've been nearly a year since they announced it, and I haven't heard pretty much anything about it since then.

But if I do, I'll let you know.

I like both. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of heros in Marvel are considered criminals under the eyes of the law. However, a lot of heros in DC are considered "good guys". Ever notice the police going after Spiderman, Wolverine, etc? But, we don't see the police chasing after Superman or Green Lantern.

How true!!!! I haven't thought of this....
good comment on this....plus Jonah always
label spider man as menace person in
public lolz....while Lex Luthor hid his war
against superman in secret sound strange?

I used to collect Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, the disney comic books when I was a kid. Later on, I collect Archies, DC and Marvel comics books. I alway loved to read Wonder Woman and Superman books when I grew up. I told all my Archies, DC and Marvel comics books to someone who won the bid at EBAY.

I perfer Marvel better than DC comics because they seem to have better and cooler heroes than DC comics does.

I have more than 50 spider-man comics that I've been collecting since I was a kid...

I like most marvel comics like Spider-man, X-men, Wolverine, Venom, The Punisher, DareDevil, and Ghost Rider.

The only DC comics I like are the Batman comics :dunno: I guess Batman is just the best from DC comics anyway

I guess that's because Marvel trys to show what life would REALLY be like when there are real live mutants like Spider-man and Wolverine :D

P.S. In DC comics, the cops were chasing after Batman when he was assumed of a murder, but it was the pegurin who framed him and as batman was caught, he has another mask on instead of his real face as Bruce Wayne...

lousy story if you ask me bleh

Steel...this is why I prefer Marvel Comics than DC Comics...Spider Man's personality always inspired me...he have up and down emotional...my favorite story, Clone Saga it rocked the Spidey forever...second his own Aunt May finalllly discovered the true identify of her own nephew was as Spider Man it was featured about 2 years ago...(please dont confuse with Amazing Spider Man number 400 was in 1995 I think so when Aunt May told Peter, she knew he was spider man...the Aunt May featured in number 400 was clone not real Aunt May, it is because the Norman Obsorn (thought to be dead in Amazing Spider Man # 122 but he went into hidding it is very long story if you follow the all Spider Man titles then you will realize Norman was one who behind the clone saga and tried everything to wreck Peter Parker's life) kindnapped the real Aunt May and put her away....it was for long time until Spider Man fought the Norman in his new verison of Green Goblin in storyline called FINAL CHAPTER ( it was before Spider Man titles went into haitus for while before relaunch new saga) it was featured in Spider Man (volume 1) # 97 (not Amazing Spider Man) dont be confused with Peter Parker: Spider Man volume 2...this is when Aunt May was discovered when Spider Man was banged by Aunt May, the real Aunt May was revealed to be hid by Norman Obsorn for many years before Spider Man discovered him.

I like Marvel more... but in DC comics, they had Batman, and I think Batman rocks. But Marvel has Spider-Man, Superman, and a bunch of superheroes I love.

I like marvel comics way better. They have a grittier edge to them and their powers seem more toned down than in the DC universe. Some of the DC comics people seem tooooo powerful and they don't ever seem to have to struggle against adversity as much as in Marvel comics. Superman has so many high powered abilities that it takes the mystery and suspense out of who will be the victor so often. In Marvel comics there is defeat as well as victory.

For some strange reason I was never into superhero stuff. A friend of mine is really into X-men, but I can't stand them...how fucking BORING!
I used to collect comic books when I was younger too. I had New Kids on the Block, some Archies, these GREAT "mystery" (Tales of the Crypt horror type) comics called House of Mystery and House of Secrets,(I wish HOM and HOS were still published! They RAWKED!) Little Lotta, Richie Rich and those types. I have comic books from the '60's, '70's a handful from the '80s (Muppet Babies!) and some from the '90s. I love looking at the advertising and the artwork...the comic books of today SUCK. I mean I bought a Simpsons comic book and it wasn't even DRAWN...it was just spat out by a computer...and the advertisments aren't even good.
It cracks me up to read the "News" sections of the NKTB comics....the language just sounds SO fourth graderish...I can't believe I ever thought that way of talking was cool...LOL.
