Man who beat elderly woman to death gets life.

The crime happened 30 YEARS AGO and he's only now being sentenced for it?? Good thing he was already in jail for the rapes and other crimes he committed in 1987. Wonder what else he might have done between 1981 and '87.

I hope when California gives a "life without possibility of parole" sentence they really mean it.
 
I guess better late than never. Still . . .

Plus, the charge was murder, burglary, and rape. That guy is scum.
 
He should be b eaten to a bloody pulp on a daily basis while sentenced.

Thirty years ago, DNA wasn't available. That has made the difference in many crimes from the past. It isn't unusual at all anymore for someone to be found guilty or to be acquited when the case is re-opened with available DNA evidence.
