Do u think if that was allowed, people wouldnt dare to perform cruel acts like these knowing if they got caught and they would get those same acts performed on them? Sometimes I wonder if prison is just easy punishment for these kinds of individuals.
 
Speaking for myself, I don't support the death penalty unless they're expectionally brutal. I think this man should be sentenced to the death - preferably in a pool of pirhnas, Reba. This case was expectionally brutal.

I understand the emotions expressed; I have them, too, but only momentarily. If what is suggested is allowed as a punishment, would that not make us no better than that lowly murderer? Aren't we more civilized than that?

My thoughts go to this mother of this girl. It must be a big thing to swallow that they met this fella with good intentions through a church program. No good deeds go unpunished?? Nah.. but dang!!!! Please be careful, folks.

I have no thoughts on the death penalty nor am I particularly religious either so I can't be accused of not having integrity... SO... I for one thing am glad this guy will get this penalty, but it will not bring back that poor little girl :( *sniff* I can't believe how some peeps can be so murderous and so horrible against small children.
 
That guy who's condemned to death definitely has to be psychologically disordered in some way. No one in his right mind would be that cruel. Not that I want to defend him, but it is not fair to punish someone who commits such extraordinary act out of "mental instability". If he's actually normal, then it's truly tragic.
