ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Hall Hunt has a unique passion for food.
“I do competitive eating for major league eating,” said Hunt.
The Orange Park man is preparing for the big Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on the Fourth of July in New York. Hot dogs are not the only food Hunt has ate during a competition.
“I've done everything from Johnsonville Brats, jalapenos, you name it, I've done it,” Hunt said.
Hunt wears Gator colors with Bible verses under his eyes as his uniform for each competition. Hunt said he doesn't always eat like that, just for competitions.
“People always prepare a bunch of food when I come over, but really I'm not eating that much,” Hunt said.
Hunt is currently ranked seventh in the world in competitive eating.
