This article is about one mainstream school in Michigan discriminating against my Deaf friend who applied for a sub teacher. If you see or experience
any similar situations, please let me know. Bear in mind, I am not a lawyer or qualified for offering legal advices, BUT I can provide you a reference to an
appropriate person to assist you with your legal situation.

Well, if you read it carefully... you'll see that part of it is due to finances. They did offer to have him teach the deaf classes, but the resources are not available immediately to them.

That's like suing a local gas station because they didn't provide an interpreter when you were up there to order cigarettes.

Thanks.

That's the problem these days. People go lawsuit crazy over everything for no good reason. Technically, they have a right to sue... but it only makes them look stupider.

on the other hand , I have heard about a teacher out there who is Hoh and teaches (as a regular teacher) in the mainstream.
