Just stick it in a zip-lock bag... double bag it. (Make sure the seal is on the bottom, not top.) ;)

Still not safe at white water rafting. Also, double bag zip-lock bag cause lost quality image.

Best way buy waterproof - they have heavy duty & clear for front lens. And heavy duty plastic with tight lock.

I was being sarcastic. ;)

Yeah, I know.

For me... I don't really care. I'm not gonna bother spending a lot of money just for a camera that I can take underwater.

If I was going on vacation where I would be underwater, I'd just buy a disposable water-proof camera. It's a one-time thing. It's cheap. And I can have the pictures developed into CDs. ;)

Most compact digital camera are slower focus. Hard time to capture good one. Most people called "Shuttle lag" due to slower auto-focus then shoot.

I am not patient with shutter lag on any in-expensive camera. All my photo equipments are great for sport shooter and news photo. My two DSLR (high end cameras) are faster focus and shuttles.

I know what I will pick one for you but...... you will say can't afford or too big.

My suggest.... go to your local camera store. Ask sales rep which is less shuttle lag, etc.. They will let you try it. Find right one for you.

Darkage, you take really good pictures, they are so clear!

Thank you.... Lot of NCAA fans love to see my photo. That's why, I am part of member for rivals.com. I wonder how many deaf prof photographer in any sport events.

Also, I took picture of (before become president) Ronald Reagan use middle finger in Seattle.
