I have recently started building a forum. I want parents to be able to meet other parents, and get the help they need. I have worked closely with alot of professionals, in the schools, from schools, HofH/Deaf teachers, and I want help so that their children may get the support "they need." I know I can't advertize on here. But I really could use some help. I need some moderators, I want a balance. I don't want "ALL" hearing, I want Deaf/HofH to be able to moderate the site as well. I want commitment, and I want the same goals and ideas. I have a Canada Corner, as well as a US corner. I figured I would use all the negative and turn it into a positive. Kids are SO important, and they need their parents, families, teachers, people that interact with daily to understand how their loss will affect them if they do NOT get the support they need.

So? How about it?

Already did, but I need moderators to work with me on the forum.
It's directed towards parents, teachers and children.

If your forum is all about what you've mentioned, then I don't see it being a problem to promote it in the Site Reviews forum.

That's great!! I would love to see your parent forum, cause I'm a mom of 3, ....
 
Good idea! I'm sure there is quite numbers that need this.

I tried to look in search engine briefly for a forum where the forum owners, builders, and mods discuss and help each other. I found it few days ago but lost it. I think Alex may know of this one .. ask him.

I only found a PHP Builder site that may help you if you do plan to build a PHP-formatted forum.
