I prefer local seafood. When we visit CT, we eat fresh North Atlantic lobster. We live in SC, and only eat at restaurants that serve local shrimp. I don't want shrimp from Thailand.
Down here, the local favorites are shrimp and grits, oyster roasts, blue crab, and she-crab soup. Low-country stir fry, mixed shrimp, red rice, and sausage, is one of my favorites.


I can't get that here.
