Mary and Martha wanted their brother Lazarus to be heal.

But he was dying and Jesus waited.

And then 4 days later, Lazarus died.

Then Jesus came and Lazarus was alive again.

Well a lot of time many people come back from the dead.

It isn't like Lazarus was dead 20 years and finally came back to life.

I know a person who was in coma after her organs collaspe and was a vegetable and depend on machine for months and she came back to life and is normal and healthy.

So even I came back from the dead....
Because when I had major surgery....
They gave me anestesia and gas and
After they put me to sleep for 18 hours.

I woke up and lay there with a breathing tube.

Why do I need a breathing tube, a life support for?

And if the doctors didn't give us breathing tube, life support after giving us anestesia and gas..... We all wouldn't be able to breathe on our own.

Had anybody here ever had major surgery and had anestestia and gas and with breathing tube?

Even Sharon in Israel had to depend on life support and the doctors had to see if his brain is active and not brain dead.
And look at that miracle.

Why do people always get use to miracle and then forgot about most people who survive and then when few people didn't make it or didn't survive, they doubt God?

Just like when one of the diciples cut off one of the soldiers' ear and Jesus healed him and then they forgot about it... And still beat him and crucified.

If Someone heal your deafness, what would you do?

Thank God for the miracle or what?

as well as minister to many Deaf people about Jesus Christ

Maybe God want u to stay deaf and set the example to other deafies about Him? I was healed by God and left me my deafness not with brain damage or paralyzed. I knew He did this for a reason so I accept His will that I am deaf.

And you can use a vibrate mobile walkie talkie with text messenger if you want some assistance when a soldier is down.

And deaf police officer can write parking tickets, speeding tickets, and all.

All you have to do is write down car license numbers down if they getaway.

And you can help an helpless woman who car no longer work...
And can write her a note that you will call tow truck....

And just use t mobile relay service or text messenger.

And if a gunman point his gun at you, then try to tell him you're deaf and try to compromise.

We can run, deaf men are strong, and can use yall strenght to knock down bad guys.

God isn't your enemy, he wants us all
to be strong and find way to make life easier for all of us.

So it is time for us deaf people to get some lawyers and force police academy and marines to hire us. We have rights.

Whoa, no. I wholeheartedly disagree that we will have deaf people on the front lines of the military until war becomes a tad more deaf-friendly. We've already had deaf policemen and deaf law enforcement, but no one in the kind of position where hearing is crucial and interpreters cannot be used (i.e., SWAT teams and hostage negotiation)

Don't you know that people in Marines use hand signs, especially during the war.

Yes, and those are the most rudimentary tactical signs possible to clearly communicate immediate battle orders (move here, cover me, 1 target sighted, retreat, etc.). They are not to be used to convey more complicated orders, strategic plans, or replace hearing loss. In war, one's hearing is usually the safest way to gather information about an enemy. If you can see the enemy, so can they see you and SHOOT.

And you can use a vibrate mobile walkie talkie with text messenger if you want some assistance when a soldier is down.

That wouldn't possibly work in a battle situation. Your eyes are to be used to protect yourself and your comrades, not to read a text message on a pager. Once heads up displays (HUDs) are out there, then possibly. That's nextgen stuff.

I really wish war was as simple as "aim and shoot." It's not. Hearing is a vital element of warfare. For civil traffic stops, maybe not.

Seems like you've got a romantic view on what the military and police have in store for deaf people. There are many, many issues that they deal with that involve the need to hear well, and having an interpreter in those situations will not be possible.

Anesthetic is the stuff in the needle.
The Anesthetician put the needle in my arm and told me to count backward....

So I tried to fight sleep, to make them think that that stuff don't work...

But I was getting drowsy and laughing cause I can't count backward from 100 to 1.
And then they placed me off the hospital bed to surgical table....
And I was alittle sleepy and they took off my hospital pajama....
And I remember my breasts exposed.
And they were sterilized me to get rid of germs....
And then the huge mask was covering my face.... And the nurse told me to inhale the GAS.

And then *fade black*
I was knocked out.

You cannot compare a deaf cop to a canine. A canine is a tool, not a partner. Those cops do not consider the canine to be their equal, they are the master and they are in charge at all times. You cannot do that with a deaf person, because a deaf person is not a lesser being than a hearing person. If you start to do that, then we might as well have gay, black, and women cops start being second class cops again.

I was trying to help yall think positive.

I really don't see how your thoughts of "healing my deafness" has anything to do with deaf people enlisting in the military or becoming policemen. It's not about thinking positive, it's all about being real and identifying where you're ignoring what issues need to be addressed before your positive thoughts can happen.

The story with Lazarus is probably made up. There have been cases where people were presumed dead only to have them wake up days later. People probably thought Lazarus died. So, Jesus probably used herbs or smelling salts to wake him up.

That is crazy , Jesus Christ did not need to do any of those things... Jesus Christ came from God and had the power to heal ... explain to me how Jesus Christ healed that Deaf boy then now explain to me why more and more Deaf school children are getting healed of deafness through Jesus Christ and that many Deaf adults are getting healed and leaving the Deaf night clubs and ministering to another Deaf people as well as doing a job that they always wanted to do that was a job traditionally denied to Deaf people. We are gonna see an exodus of Deaf people being healed pretty soon in the End Times that we are in today.
