After snow melting, I never seen some rivers on my front lawn. Lawncare said that visible is in my lawn is from a fungus called snow mold. but i don't believe that. I think that mole or other animals can damage lawn???
You have seen it before?

Check out lawn damage by voles.

Thank you, Reba.

I finally found info on vole lawn damage.

Vole Control - Identifying Gophers

Voles have been busy scurrying around under the snow looking for food. They feed on seeds and the bark of trees and shrubs. This spring, gently tamp any disturbed turf back in place. Overseed vole trails worn to bare ground. Roughen the bare areas to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Then sprinkle grass seed over the area and lightly rake.

I will like to mix a handful of grass seed with a bucket of topsoil and sprinkle this mix over small bare areas in the lawn. Or I may decide to purchase a lawn patch kit that has seed and mulch included. Water often enough to keep the soil moist.

I hope it works for you, and you will enjoy a nice, lush, green lawn this spring. :)
