Law professor on Obama

Evidently it makes you wonder, but that has already been explained in previous posts.

Quite frankly, his grades in law school are irrelevant to his presidency. Can't imagine why some think it is so all important.

I would take a doctor that scored straight A's over a doctor that scored straight C's.


It makes clear sense.
 
Unfortuately, a doctor that scored straight A's is not, by virtue of his grades, more qualified or a better practitioner than the one that scored C's. All it indicates is that the doctor that scored A's is a better test taker. And you won't find many with C's. Below a B and they are dismissed from the program.

Obama is not currently practicing law. His grades in law school have nothing to do with the presidency.
 
If college grades aren't relevant to the Presidency, then I wonder why critics made such a big deal about Bush's grades? :hmm:

Evidently for the same reason that critics are attempting to make a big deal of Obama's.

Perhaps we should pass legislation requiring all politicians to make public their high school and college transcripts before being eligible for office.
 
High School or college credits have nothing to do with the presidency.

It's the experience and qualifications. The votes.

Exposing the grades of presidents, is one way of slander, don't you think?

'Oooo, he got an 'F' in Mathematics!' or 'A 'D' in English Composition?'

I know someone who barely squeaked by on her course for Nursing, but is one of the best Registered Nurses in charge at the Hospital. It's experience really that clinches it and it comes from years of it.

Life is the Teacher and we are the Students who learn everyday.

I wouldn't worry about critics. They're paid to whine and make a fuss out of anything :lol:

We don't know what his grades were, among other information not publicly available.

If that "highest tenured faculty member" at Chicago wants to write up an Op-Ed expressing HIS OWN view, then I might begin to listen, but I'm not going to take some lackey's third party story and believe a word of it at face value.

I know many people who did not do very well in college, but are still highly intelligent and successful people. Likewise, I know people who aced every single college class they took, yet they are still dumbasses.

Same with teachers who pass the state certification exams...there are some who passed with flying colors but are lousy teachers while those who failed but are good with kids and teaching approaches.

Would you take a teacher who got straight A's but screams or yells at the kids constantly over a teacher who got C's but encourages positive praise to the children? I know of such teachers like those I just described.

Grades in high school and in college are not what makes a politician.

Experience, knowledge of politics, and votes are what makes a politician.

Grades and credits in regards to politicians are just a tactic to slander and ruin reputations, when they are doing a good job or a bad one.

For example:

'President so and so had really bad grades in school so he is too stupid to be a president!'

Where as, this president with the bad grades has a good head on his shoulders, common sense, knowledge, and is well liked by Americans and does the job accordingly and very well to the point of bringing happiness to the country.

;) For starters: Doctors who scored straight C's wouldn't even be practicing.

And yeah, I know. I think the people who gets straight A's are anal. Most of them, at least.

That's not what I'm referring to. When you become a politician you become an open book. I never said anything about grades requirement in order to be a president. But Reba is right about the hypocrisy thing.

Obviously true...


Once a politician, their whole life gets put onto display for perusal and criticism.
