Anyone goes to Laundry Mat, or do you own a washer and dryer? Those who attend colleges Do they have coins-machine washer and dryer in dorms or apt.?

I own a washer and dryer at my home, But when I am traveling out of states I would stop at the laundry mat and wash/dry clothes.

I have my own washer and dryer. I used to have to go somewhere to do my laundry and I figured I could save more money by buying my own.

I don't have a washer/dryer in my apt, so we use the coin-op wash/dryer in the apt complex basement. :)

I have my own washer and dryer too, Thanks heaven!!

I used to went to Laundry Mat when I was in England and also rent a one bedroom apartment in Germany before started to build the house. It's real sucker!!!!!!!!!!! (We don't have spare enough to put washer/dryer at one bedroom apartment.

We have own laundry room for washer/dryer. We bought them STRAIGHT WAY after move out to house from one bedroom apartment.

I can't live without them.

Can you image what you react when washer/dryer are broke?

I used to go the Laundromat in the past but I have washer and dryer. Most of the Laundromats around here aren't clean. A lot of weirdo and dirty-looking people!

I don't own a washer/dryer, I live in an apt bldg the laundry room uses a slot card operated washer/dryer.. it's called "Laundry Money Card" as reloadable to deposit more funds from the card vending machine to add values onto my laundry money card, load my clothes into washer, selection buttons, put my laundry money card into slot, press the start then til the display says "PULL CARD" and "BUSY" that mean the machine is running and pull my card out of slot.

when i am in the mountains for rockclimbing or backpacking, i clean my clothes with the biodegradable soaps and lukewarm water. then i hang some clothes under tree or on hiking poles or put them on me because my body is "heat" to warm my clothes in summer time. they just work fine. :)

on bottom line i rarely go to laundry mat.

The strange thing is that I have never really used any laundromats. Growing up, I have always used the machines in the dorm laundry room, or the laundry room was always included in my apartment. I used to live in an apartment which had no laundry room, but I brought my laundry to my parents' house to wash my clothes (they insisted that I do that.) Here, the house has two laundry rooms, so it's really cool 'cos can go ahead and do two washloads.

UGH...hated doing the laundry in the dorms....hard to find quarters for that! At least I lived on the first floor so didn't have to go through dragging my laundry up and down a gazillion flights of stairs!
