MsGiglz, Yes I really familiar with Amercian Acces One.. Is Amercian Acces One that owned by Deaf's site??

No, but this is the first time I've ever heard or
read about this. I hope to hear from any other
deafies who already had this loan service before ?
This does look so good, but I hope to hear from
deaf customers first.

MsGiglz, wonder if you had this loan service before ?

just for your info..

I applied.. yesterday.. and still waiting for their response...

Since, we are looking for other place *again*.. yesterday landlord gave us 30 days notice to move out.. just because they want to sell their house and this house.. but we just moved in here around end of Nov (2004) same landlord.. plus they came back and start accusations that the molds around the windows & some on walls.. are our faults.. we went like wtf.. it were there before we moved in.. and impossible to have molds build up so fast.. (3 months )...
anyway.. either that we hope to get loan right away (in our dreams -- yea) but give it try.. but still looking for other place tho..

:)

msgiglz... i never heard of that before.. however i refinanice my home through www.deafmortgage.net.. this guy who's parents is deaf helped me alot in reducing the price... and saves me hundrend dollars a month after refinancie my mortgage.

oh really, that does sound Good.. thanks
for sharing... i still have same mortgage for years,
but i did try to check for re-finance they told me
it's not worth to go through re-finance/closing
because I would save little bit.. Not much difference.

if I save more than $200 a month, then
it's worth to get a re-finance so thats
why I dropped the whole thing..

I never try deafmortgage.net myself, but maybe
someday I will.

yeah... mostly it will be worth to refinance the loan if your credit scores are low... try to elemiate all bad credits..

so therefore the interest rates will be lower.. however average interest rates are on the rise back again.. so maybe its not worth now.. than it was before when the interest rates hit record lows.

What a great idea ! I like the idea of helpin' Deaf/HOH people to buy homes that they need. It's really nice. Make them to feel an equal with hearin' people. :thumb:

www.deafmortgage.net i'm happy with them.. happy they saved me hunderends dollars a month.

all they do for me is they explain to me what 15 year is good for, what 30 year is good for and etc certa.. so i choosed 5-ARM loan because i feel i won't be living in this house for more than 5 years and therefore its lower interest rate.. only 5.35% for 5 years.. then he directed me to USbank have interpreter there for closing, refinance, etc...

then he's done with me.. but i'm under US bank for their mortgage.. deafmortgage isn't a bank, etc.. just helping hand in explaining whats best fit for you and ur family and ur income and ur needs. all in ASL.

If your applying for mortgage and buying a house. Do it in 30 days? your outta of your mind!!! I have warned alot home buyers NEVER NEVER NEVER shop too fast! The best house you would buy is if you take your time, search around make list what you want, like what kind of neighborhood you want, what kind of house you want, etc. etc. etc. And most importantly of all... Is this house marketable? I know its not easy to predict wheather house can be marketable but trick to this is to look at record of deeds or county clerk office of records with real estate transactions. look for the area where they tend to sell fast. That is where you'd want to go there. If you think it won't make difference if your planning to live there til your 6 feet down. Then your taking too much risk. Nobody knows what happens 5 or 10 years later. For example, if I lost my job, and couldn't keep mortgage I could sell and pay off without sinking deeper into debt.

Finally do you have at least $5,000 dollars for down payment and closing cost? I would recommend you to find another apartment then look around.

One of my friend refused to heed my advise and bought house outright. Took him 3 days to find a house. Bought it and move in about 2 months later. Guess what happened? He lost that house 7 years later! He couldn't sell this house, and sank into deeper debts. He came back to me, and said to me that he wish he had listen to my good advice.

No, it would cause your credit score sink lower! PLUS your gonna end up paying higher interest rate when having lower credit score. This advise is a NO NO NO :nono:

What I learn about these terms. Of course the shorter term the lower the interest rate would be, but higher payment needed to be paid each month than longer term. ONE CATCH! If you opt for 15 years mortgage, then after say 5 years later your financial situation isn't good and you want to refi to lower monthly payment. That happens ONLY if you still have good credit score and the interest rate has been dropped. It won't let you convert to 30 years term!!! No mortgage company is allowed to increase the term once its agreed upon. My friend got stuck with 15 years, he wish he had gone for 30 years so he could have keep his house. But its now gone.
