Anyone else seeing or seen this? I'm planning to go see it this week, not too sure when.

I plan to see King Kong, it seems the movie is already getting great reviews. :)

(Probably after I've seen Narnia first, lol)

Off-Topic: 'Prince Caspian' is a go for a December 2007 release according to an early tip from an insider at the Mouse House due to the expectations met by the box office results.

Just thought you'll like to know.

By the way, I am definitely seeing King Kong. I'll be going to the theatres this Thursday.

I defiantly want to see this movie. It looks so good, with the graphics and all.
And I am so psyched to see Naomi Watts(The Ring) playing another leading role, in a movie thats going to hit big. Good for her!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly I prolly wont be able to go to the theaters, since money is always tight around christmas and the new year. Ill have to wait until it comse out to rent...bummer :thumbd:

Coolness! :)

Saw the movie last night. It was pretty darn good, the movie was long (189 mins I believe), and the ending was sad (nothing new). :thumb:

seen it last night for the 10:30 screening...

man, you would be definetly crazy if you dont go see that movie.

so who is really the king of the jungle?

it's not Tarzan.

it's not George.

it's not the T-Rex.

It's King Kong.

with his great size, mighty strength, and intellence he is simply the king the jungle.

I totally respect Peter Jackson for his work and I'm definetly proud to know that he is going to be the producer for Halo, while the director who directed "Hellboy" will direct Halo.

Peter Jackson (acclaimed director for the Lord of The Rings trilogy) really know how to take films seriously and he is the next steven speilberg.

ladies and gentlemen, I seriously vote "King Kong" as the best film of 2005 ever made.

It packs loads of non-stop twisted action, shocking thrills, and some dramatic scenes...the connection between the little lady and the Kong really gets to me and well, I'm kinda embrassassed to say it but it just...got me emotional at the end. okay, that's it, just stop embrassassing me and go see the movie!

I sure can't wait to see that movie but I rather to watch it with CC, so that means I have to wait until its on a DVD :(...

Or it comes out as an open-captioned verison at your nearest movie theatre (if it is possible in your state)

I haven't seen it yet, I'm not in a hurry...there's time and it will be on DVD in 6 months or less...:)

I haven't been to one, and I'm not sure where at either....

Insightcinema.org lists captioned movies and locations..
Saw it without captioning, because I knew it wasn't really necessary to see this kind of movie. I will eventually see it oc'd, and anyway, I saw King Kong today, and when I say it was a CHAMP movie, that is an understatement. IMO Peter Jackson has outdone himself. Cannot wait for his Halo project either like you, Steel. I hope you have read the Halo novels, because I think Halo would make a killer movie or anime if done right. ^5 Peter Jackson.

I will definetly get the extended edition of King Kong when it comes out on DVD...as for deleted scenes and other stuff like that.

I was watching the movie called King Kong with my gf javapride at my gf javaprides' work last night. It was good movie!!
