Today, I got on my husband's computer and noticed 86 trojan warnings from google.ad or something....just from reading ALLdeaf. He has windows XP.

I don't have that many on mine and I have windows Vista 64bit and have the same Kaspersky virus scan as he does.

Does google ad really have trojans? or is it just my husband's computer.

To better understand, these trojans are viruses. They are written by just anyone. Thousands of viruses were develop daily, only fraction of them do work. I highly doubt that Google people would write virus because they can lose job if they do. Google is one of best job in the world for anyone. Some of trojans can be stealth meaning they are hiding their origns or disappear when trying to access them and they are dangerous ones.

Malware is different, they do not do much harm but actually slow down the computer, usually they are annoying. They can increase bandwidth and affect Sorenson VP performance if Malware is out of control.

Spyware is the worst of all, they snoop everything, in attempt to steal one's identity and they usually left undetected til they are too late to catch.

Any computers does have "Swiss cheese", even any server and many of them not known until somebody found the hole, that is why there is patch that has been release periodically. Some of them never had problem, while others have problem.

Kaspersky is not great anti-virus. Still better than Norton IMO
