Kangaroo Tries to Drown Man, Dog

Did you know that their tails weigh the same to their body?

My Aussie friend told me to lift it up at the natural zoo in Sydney a few months ago and then I lifted it up. I told her that it was so heavy and she told me that the weight of their tails were similar to their bodies. :eek3:

At least that kangaroo did not kick me out. LMAO

the Aborigines eat kangaroo tails. watch out for kangaroo's claws. very sharp!

I knew that roos are dangerous but I had no idea that the were capable of drowning someone. Maybe this animal had rabies or something?

Here's an interesting tidbit: Kangaroos cannot fart. Who knew?

Are you kidding me that Kangaroos can't fart??? :giggle:

FF,that's what it says on Wikipedia.

Absence of digestive methane release

Despite having a herbivorous diet similar to ruminants such as cattle which release large quantities of methane through exhaling and eructation, kangaroos release virtually none. The hydrogen byproduct of fermentation is instead converted into acetate, which is then used to provide further energy. Scientists are interested in the possibility of transferring the bacteria responsible from kangaroos to cattle, since the greenhouse gas effect of methane is 23 times greater than that of carbon dioxide, per molecule[20]

Kangaroo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some people hate wikipedia but I think it's ok for general information, like I wonder what kangaroos are like.

It is so interesting. Oh I see that you did touch kangroo's tail. wow

I petted and fed a few of them and one of them carried a joey in her pouch.

Do not attempt to put your hand into their pouches; otherwise, your hand will be full of mucus. :cold:

BTW I got several pics and video clips of them in my Facebook. :)
