Just recently down in St. Louis and now this:

Our power was back on when we got home - apparently it just got back on before we got into the driveway.

good.. glad you guys didn't have to deal with it while you guys were gone. but now its clean up time isn't it?
 
(today is tuesday) DD went to work yesterday and I stayed home.

last weekend, Our parents did come to our house to check on power and around the house, ofc check on our cats. My parents find the storm door glass broken by hitting on the wall. They did clean it up. Her parents did clean out the fridge because all food are SPOILED after no power.

Yesertday, I look around the yard and pick the long limbs. Now mostly are short limbs on the ground.

never forgot the ice storm when i was without power for 4 days.. that was most miserable 4 days ever in my life.. Lucky i have gas to keep me warm.. and put my foods outside as it was cold outside?

nothing i can do.. but read books! lol.. no tv and no computer.. lmao.. i survived that! heh.. :)

but in summer time?? i cant imagine being hot.. if that happens.. i would jump in lake and live there! hehe..
