Job Interview

Okay, you're only following up on a job application. You call the person at 3:00 when you promised. You do NOT show up at their office, as this is NOT a job interview, unless they say it is.

pete, are you reading what's going on? Don't you think there's any discrimination issue going on? I didn't show up for an interview. I showed up because the phone is always bound for discrimination. Tell me how do you do it instead or do you use the phone?

I already said that I didn't know why I was giving the Relay Service any chance, and that I was not going to do that anymore. I haven't used the relay to reply to anyone anymore. It works better this way when I show up and explain the situation.

I have gotten my jobs by showing up not relay phone calls.

I am not trying to create some complicated issue here for nothing. I feel discriminated. I feel that we have resources to take action if you're being discriminated.

What do you mean by only one phone call? You got twelve messages saying that they found someone else LOL.

The manager said she got my phone call originally before I called the receptionists twice and e-mailed her more than once when she was never answering. I wrote her a personal letter, and she said she got my original message, but she's not conducting any interviews.

I wrote back saying that no one calls to just tell you that they got your application and leaves a phone number (not in this wording but basically).

The human resources manager wrote saying the same thing that it's practice for them to say to every applicant that they got their application.

Do you think that's true? Have you had polite phone calls letting you know someone got your resume or application on your voice message, then when you call back or get a response like me saying they are not conducting interviews? WHAT?

I am thinking whether or not it's wise to reply to her one more time or leave it and file a complaint.

I have a question. If I get a job elsewhere, do I have to drop filing the complaint?

Thank you.

It is possible that they are postponing the interview dates to later dates. It happened to me when I started to work for UPS, I was suppose to work a week later, but then it got later like a month and half later.

Don't frown, filing a compliant could show how impatience you are.

She never responded to any way I tried to contact her to tell me that if that was the case. At least you got a response in a timely manner.

Give it time.

In a meanwhile, keep looking and don't stop until you've landed on a job.

Yeah, well my counselor said that it's hard to really say that they are discriminating. So I am not going to file a complaint. I wasn't sure either, but I know that what certain people are doing doesn't seem right. Employers respond saying bealivable statements. Oh well, I'll abandon these ignorant employers. I had an employer ask if I spoke English after she offered an interview and changed her mind. She said I could report them, but I really don't care.

i going have interview at walmart today im pray for jobs but i did fill jobs online many times and more but no receive calls.
