Japan's Smoking Hoods

I don't know if that is the wise way to put heavy smokers into the bubble cover as the bell hood. This smokers need air inside but I prefer someone who are heavy on smoking go outside better than inside the bubble.

Wow, that is a lot of 40 packs of cigarettes a day. Way out of their league. They are going to be dead right then and there. Cancer is coming their way. **SMH**

That was not an English writer. I think it must have meant per week.
I've never been a smoker, so I don't know what is considered "average" but that seemed high to me. How many individual cigarettes do people smoke each day?

I used to smoke as I was a light smoker, not heavy. I quit smoking over 30 years ago. I feel much better without the cigarettes (very nasty habit) and I can breath better. :D

its more like a pack a day, 20 ciggies that's average, the old average would have been 2 packs, 1 pack a day...those days are pretty much gone...its so expensive...dunno about other countries though..asia, mid-east, russian, south america etc etc would be different, poorer and less taxes and sloppier more laid back..so ciggie taxes would be pretty much non existent...

Ah, maybe that's what they meant--20 cigarettes per day, not 20 packs per day. How much does that cost?

I used to be a smoker. Two packs a day used to be kind of normal, when I was young.

That would be forty cigarettes.

Wow. I'm glad you quit.

My MIL was a long-time smoker. It wasn't until the doctor put her on full-time oxygen that she finally quit. Even then, she said smoking had nothing to do with her poor health. She just didn't want to blow up the house with all that oxygen present.

I am too. But I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, so it didn't leave me much option.

Smoking is very addictive. Something you can't imagine if you never did it.

And I have been a non smoker for 12 years now, and still alive. :fingersx:

I've tried cigarettes and just don't enjoy them. Plus the smell is gross, it damages your health and appearance, and costs a fortune.

I remember the smoking room in an office I worked in... white plastic early 80s furniture, now yellow. YUCK!
