Japan's Dock Land on Orgeon Beach.

Read that...stuff is washing up all over....a beach-comer's paradise and a treasure-hunter's delight.

I just heard on Nightly News tonight that species of sea animals from Japan are all over the dock , there are some starfishes from Japan and this could be bad news for us if the starfishes get out of hand. This could be real harmful to our ocean as we have no idea was else has hitch a ride here.

douse it with gasoline and light it.....less worry about species endangering our waters.

Off topic...I like Starfish.... I collected them as a kid. They are also a reminder for me when I am out doing my volunteer projects with the homeless. There is a story in one of my devotionals about a man who spotted a boy on the beach throwing trash in the ocean. He went down to yell at him and realized it wasn't trash but thousands of starfish that had strangely washed ashore. The guy looks at the kid and say's "you are wasting your time....you'll never save all of these". The boy tossed one in the water and said "I saved that one"

Love starfish....whenever they washed upon the beach after a n'easter...used to beach comb and pick them up....real big, purple ones (their name slips my mind)....I would take them back to my beach house, let them dry in the sun for a week or so and put them into my fish nets hanging from the ceilings of my house....Also had blow fish, shells (jewel boxes were my fav)...some people said my house looked like a Seafood Restaurant.

The Sea gives us so many beautiful things!
