Rats isn't that smell bad... Unless if you leave the litter when they pee or poop for a month and it will start smell... Ohhh, she might will attack or not... Since, our dog Sam is part of herding(sp) that work at farm to keep animals stay in group, not run away or lose... He will do that to Rats or Cats or whatever, but he didn't... That's good thing, so never know if your dog will attack or not... So you can test on her with something like.. squirrell or raccoon or whatever animal you find outside that is wild so see how her behavior toward to that animal so you will know if she will attack or not... But my dog, Lucy would DARE to attack ANY animals even baby animals! She's crazy dog, but sweet same time.

Oh, what beautiful squirrels! Oops. I mean rats.

Perhaps, you could make a creative movie of a small town. It is like a "Hollywood" movie. You could draw small houses and stores on the papers and cut them out. In the movie, the rats invade the town something like that. You could think of some ideas so that it would be interesting for us to watch your movie. Just make sure that it is not a real movie!

Aww your rats are so cute. I have two females, one is a cinnamon color, her name is lilly and bamboo is a white with black hood.

I want more, but have a hard time finding a breeder here in Arkansas.

Rats have a lot of stereotypes, people always think theyre dirty, they smell, they bite, they are mean.

When its just the opposite, rats are so clean, everytime you touch them they will run back in their cage and start to clean them selves, i have a loft style apartment and my rats are actually in my dining room, if you dont see them you dont even notice they are around, they dont smell at all, if youre a good parent. Also its usually the males that tend to territorily pee more than the females.

I have never had my rat bite me, they sometimes nibble and sniff at you if you smell life food. The only time one of my rats have even come close to biting me was when i was feeding bamboo a little stick of celery and i wasnt paying attention, she was trying to pull the stick through the cage and tried to pull my finger in with it. They are so friendly, some are really hyper and just want to run around and climb on you and explore and some are really lazy and just want to lay on you and sleep. They are so much fun to watch, they are always playing or doing something silly.

I wanted to ask another rat owner, have you ever had two females try to hump each other? My younger rat tries to hump my older rat, and my older rat is normally the more dominate one, but she doesnt seem to care.
