Now Theres an $35 million hi tech computer system that tracks complaints and other telling data about officers — then alerts top supervisors to possible signs of misconduct. Its Too god damn fucking late.I paid my $115 ticket plus to attend fucking traffic school because this fucking deputy who wouldnt belive me i didnt mean have my brights on. But i have other ways of retailating now..When the sheriffs dept ask me for my donation i will give them NOTHING!!!! Instead it will have an enclosed letter inside says this...
"""" Dear Sheriff Mascara, You wont get a red cent from me cause your deputy was rude and unprofessional with me,,He called me by my first name and commenting on my hearing aid,,I tried to work out this problem,But instead your deputy supervisors refused to allow me to see you in your office to complan about deputy ron who was unprofessional and very rude. He quoted to me when i said i didnt mean to have my lights on and could you at least give me a warning? He said this QUOTE"" I dont belive you and i dont care"" .Rodney Black even promised me he will fire deputy ron if he got elected .So therefor youll get nothing from me.You want my money? Get it out county dept of traffic. """""" Thats how im gonna retailate.

Hey steve, I'm sick of you whining about cops!
My dad is a retired state trooper and part time baliff and LSO..... Not all cops aren't that bad! I also happen to know Ramsey County sheriff...... As what others told you in other threads about cops..... You gonna grow up! :ugh: you just need to stop bashing cops since some of us are cops or have cops in family.. So please leave us alone..... Thank you....

I was like RS61, I used to hate cops, due to bad experinces (long story) until I met that cop who become my best friend then dad, he changed my prespectives on cops, and he showed me that he and his friends are nice, not bad ones. He is most sweetest cop I've met in my life.. We do still keep in touch, and I'm gonna spend my birthday with him in august goin to golf tourney..

Well Reality Bites doesnt it?

Yes, Steve, it does. Reality will one day bite you on the behind, too.

I hope you are prepared for it.

My Dad's best friend was a cop working the beat in PG Co., MD back in the 70s. I say was, because, he died. My Dad and this guy were HS school buddies. When J became a cop, he always did his job efficiently and with as much respect as he could muster despite the scum he dealt with on a daily basis.

It took a lot for him to not become bitter for all the crap he saw day in and day out. And, like i said, this was back in the 70s. It's worse now! I would say cut cops a break. All you have to do is look on the news on a semi regular basis, and you get a good idea of what cops deal with every day.

granted there are some bad cops out there and YES they need to be weeded out -- but we cannot stereotype them all to be ALL BAD COPS -- my dad was a cop too as well as several of my 2nd cousins -- all worked for the Montgomery County MD police dept in the 70s and we have a few retired cop friends who worked for the Metropolitan PD (DC) -- today is much more worse than it was in the 70s and the today's cops has to deal with a whole shitload of new bullshit that wasnt seen or rarely seen back in the 70s -- defendants/suspects with mental problems, physical problems, behavioral problems that were not known or understood 20 years ago!

so RS -- quit with ur whining abt the cops

I agree with cooliefroggie... I have heard stories from my dad... Sometimes he had go somewhere to deal with problems @ capitol, and came back to tell me what happened, I was like oh geez.... Many legislators and people @ capitol thinks my dad is doing good job. He is well-liked @ capitol because he go out help people, even risk his own life if bad situation come up. One time he had to bust a drunk who was stealing a state representative's wallet, and the representative came up told me that my dad did a good job. I also got to know his buddies who happen to be my friends (I met them through my dad).. They all are good cops, one of them just promoted as a captain so she transferred to airwing (highway patrol aerospace thing, she is flying a copper). The Governor told me that my dad is a good guy too- he was on Governor's security detail (still do part time at capitol if he needed extra security such as press conferences at his office).. Many people respect my dad because he have done all wonderful jobs, and he will be there if people need him, like one time Minnesota Senate empolyee was locked out of the office, he went to help that person to unlock the door. I'm not sure if there's bad cops around... I'm sorry if people have bad experince with police.... That's my view of point. Even if he have to do his job, he still got some time for me such as having lunch and dinner together at capitol. He knew I had to come back to Capitol on last day of special session from mtg @ my school, he had my dinner ready, I was surprised. He knew that I had to work hard, and he care about me so much. We still do fun things- yes, such as watching firework through windows on 2nd floor of Capitol to celebrate our early 4th of July.

Again, Steve, you need to stop whining and go find a nice cop who will teach you how to appreciate cops like my dad did to me few years ago.

My uncle is Cheif of Police you deserved that ticket cuz you had your lights on. So STFU it's in the past you can't get your money back.

Families and friends of police officers come out and lash at RS61... Because he treat them like crap.... I know I'm not only one that feel so offended by RS61's comments on cops. My dad hates it when people calls him nasty names when he's on duty. I'm sure that someday bad karma will happen to him after what he done to us, who have family and friends in law enforecement....

But the sheriff wont get my donation. And computers will now be in favorite of the people. In the future all computers will be monitoring cops behavor. And if you pull him over for unnessary reason computers will say BAD JUDGEMENT! And ill say ill be glad to go to court. And the judge will say :Well it says here you used bad judgement :Cop: Well he was speeding over 5 MPH : Judge: Well thats not what the computer is telling me. My judgement in favor of the defendant case closeed! :smash: And ill tell the cop this.. :giggle: Well you fucked up! .:nana: Better luck next time asshole :madfawk: :giggle:

In your dreams. Ever heard of alittle something called PROOF OF WRONG DOING?

Before you get too cocky about the use of computers for this purpose, you better consider that a person can't just walk into court and say, "Your Honor, I used my computer to moniter the cop, and this is what I found..." And, expect the judge to side with the defendant.

In the fast majority of cases, when a defendant gets a speeding ticket, they deserved it!

Nice try, Steve. But, you're blowing in the wind..... AGAIN!

Yea, I second to everybody except RS! I think the real reason behind the computer investment to prevent any more frivilous accusation from "Suspect". Once cops have hard evidence, then cops wins in the court of law.

Just be aware, some day you never know, RS whenever you REALLY need cops assistance... Cop MIGHT not be there to help you out. That is becasue cops were tired of your baloney and think your screaming for help is fake after all. Just like in bible story called the crying wolf.. You might be next!

I agree with everyone here. In the majority of cases, the suspect deserved the ticket for speeding or having his brights on. RS61, you need to accept the ticket, it's in the past and move on -- and accept your responsibilty for getting this ticket, and learn a lesson not to turn your brights on or speed over the limit again. Most cops are NOT bad....there are some nice ones out there. Maybe you;ll change your tune when you meet one of the nice ones.

Um....diehard, there is a BIBLE STORY about a crying wolf?? Maybe you meant "Peter and the Wolf" as a fictional story....but you have a point there about the "meaning" of the story to RS. I don't remember anything about the crying wolf in the Bible though. :sure:

The only time a wolf crys is when theyre howling at the moon at night. I dont know why they howl at the moon! The Moon never hurts anybody.

i tell you about that!

my Uncle is prison officer!

Apparently you haven't read the story about "crying wolf". It is about peter, the shepherd who guards the sheep. Was playing games with town people screaming for wolf being attack sheep, so whole town rush down to help only to find out it was just joke. The third time that boy screamed the wolf, but because town people thought it was just another prank, and ignored Peter screaming for help but actually the wolf came in and killed all sheep.
I am making this story shorter for your sake.

I am not quite sure if it is bible story or something. BUT I DO remember this story that I read about 35 years ago!
