It costs $500 millions dollars to make a movie called Avatar

Well, it better be worth to watch! I saw trailer which is amazing CGI

Yeah, he grew up in Chippawa which is within the Niagara region.

The 3D preview looked awesome. I am definitively going to see this movie.

It's because of Avatar that the other movie was called The Last Airbender.

that's old issues I hear it been make decide and avoid the trouble. So, it been named "Avatar: The Last Airbender" as it is that way as the anime (or cartoonist)

Yup! Thats right it cost that much to make the film. A lots of special effects in it and being as 3D made it costly to make. Good movie and it worth seeing. :thumb:

Half a billion dollars for a CGI film? That's a lot of money there.

I have no plans to watch this.
I absolutely loathe CGI when used excessively and this film relies solely on 3D technology. In fact Avatar will offer more CGI then any other movie in cinematic history. Blah.

Guillermo del Toro has my attention (and respect) with what he is doing with the upcoming Hobbit movie because he IS using stop-motion animation while combing CGI/digital animation. This makes me wanna squeal in excitement.

I've seen the movie afew days ago and I have to say, I'm not really fond of the story it was written...honestly, I don't really like the story at all. However, the CG effects and 3D technology were really cool. It is odd thou that it has beat the records to the Dark Knight...because I actually like the Dark Knight's story WAY better Avatar's story.

Even James Cameron said he's already planning to do two more sequels to Avatar...honestly, I cant really say if that's gonna be a good idea due to the story I didn't like of this one I just seen.

He's better off to direct sci-fi movies as sequels to Aliens or Terminator.
