i rather stay home and earn a living on the internet. i am out in open of the country and there is no hiring, i did applied for jobs. the jobs are way out about 30-45 min drive. there no way i am driving out in 12 inches of snow in winter. beside, who want to hiring a hearing impaired?? can't get unemployment check. don't even think of ssi or ssdi cuz it's won't work for me. even if i get something in the stay at home job, i don't want to get rip off. any option about it ?? have anyone try these ??

Umm You like to stay at home and work on internet business. You can get your own small business. Do you have SSDI or SSI? It depend on where you're coming from. You would like to do for business with your hobby and extra money. You might like to sell your things at Ebay that you don't need it.

For me, I am disability. It's hard to find a new job because I has usher syndrome. I don't like to look for new job and stress me out easy. I prefer stay at home and do my jewelry business. I want to be my own small business in the future. I am on SSDAC. I can work at Macy's with my mom for holiday seasonal only. I love to do wrapping the gifts and fold the clothes on shelves. This is easy job for me.

Economy is suck right now! It's very slow business in everywhere.

no pinky, i never have ssi or ssdi. i can't get unemployment unless i work in area for 2 mths and might able to get it or that they might turn me down for other reasons. who know. yeah true that economy is suck. i lived up north michigan in east jordan. so it's small community area. my daughter said same thing about ebay, i might try that. thank for information.

If you are deaf (sorry..hard to discern from writing!), you may be qualified for SSI... if you already had a job in the past, you may get SSDI, insteads. I suggest that you try go to the nearby SS office and fill out an application. They will need an audiogram and a doctor's note to verify your deafness.
