i did went to mexico before with family.. we did not use tourist.. we went on our own.. and we has fun.. also i would say it is depend on place where you go to visit..

Yes, that is true. Last summer, I was going to get myself ready for depart from Sweden to America (which I don't want to ) and many of them tried hard to convince me to not go back to America. Anyway several of them told me that they (swedes) and many europeans warned each other about visiting America. According to them, they never think that it will ever happen until that time.

Oh well.


Edit: Oh yes, Mexico is pretty safe country for anyone to visit... I visited there several times, there is nothing to scare of.

Anyway, I have been to Mexico several times. Just make sure you have your Passport or all of the following: Birth Certificate and State ID or Driver's License. Make sure you don't do anything illegal and bring your own water, and you'll be fine! I have been shopping in Mexico and they have really good deals on their stuff!

I am also thinking about buying timeshare in Mexico for my retirement.

I really don't want to bring the offtopic or political debate into this topic but I hope you will be realize that PATRIOT Act was approved by your lovely president Bush. Why blame Arabs when they did nothing with PATRIOT Act while Bush is the one who approved it? Do you mean that ALL of arabs are the source of 9/11?

America corporations mistreated many third-world countries by child labor, GMO farming on their lands, dump the illegal chemicals in their drinking waters, list go on and on...
